Yes, that's exactly what I do until I don't. Usually it ends when I start shenanigans.Jawneh to me reads “blending in” more than anyone else in this game besides Joseph Snapple, but it’s his first game.
What shenanigans have you started so far this gameYes, that's exactly what I do until I don't. Usually it ends when I start shenanigans.
yeah.Mafia was in a pretty strong position with the town seemingly having no inkling of any of them, so it doesn't make sense to give up one of their own AND forfeit a night kill.

I don’t actually think that, I think it is something to be considered. I was your first supporter and the first who believed you. I’m not suspicious of you at all. I’m suspicious of Zell, who I know you were suspicious of yesterday tooyeah.
can we talk about how shortkut suddenly thinks I sold out a fellow mobster after being my biggest supporter, and also thinks the mob just chose not to kill last night, and me being arrested is what, a coincidence?
still am.I don’t actually think that, I think it is something to be considered. I was your first supporter and the first who believed you. I’m not suspicious of you at all. I’m suspicious of Zell, who I know you were suspicious of yesterday too
First one, then the other. I think it makes sense to go after Zell. Just because I’m using you for my hypotheticals, doesn’t mean you are always the subject. Everyone who has ever read a dead thread from a zell game knows that zell has a million strategies for each scenario.still am.
as am I suspicious of the other person that was on my short list.
short
list.
I have a lot of strategies for evils. The strategy for the town is always the same. Get as much information as possible and spread it as widely as possible. Force people into defending themselves if they are not proven good.First one, then the other. I think it makes sense to go after Zell. He is someone who argued with the gumshoe
Someone who ignored Alu being called out for a SPECIFIC mafia role, not mafia in general
Someone who has been on many people’s suspicion lists for good reason
Take him out and then if you are suspicious of me after that, I’m an open book and will gladly take the stand
That you for supporting what I saidI have a lot of strategies for evils. The strategy for the town is always the same. Get as much information as possible and spread it as widely as possible. Force people into defending themselves if they are not proven good.
Everyone is a known townie to the mafia. You now can’t hurt them so you’re not likely to be a threat. Cole needs the protection because he can identify themI'm one of two 100% known alive townies. Screw Cole, save me!
Cole can’t be protected and still use his ability. Without his ability he is the same as every other Townie, except for the fact that he is a known good. The value in having another Cop lock up Cole is that the mafia might lose another kill attempt in trying to attack him.Everyone is a known townie to the mafia. You now can’t hurt them so you’re not likely to be a threat. Cole needs the protection because he can identify them
He is openly known. He and Cole are of course the top two evil targets.Everyone is a known townie to the mafia. You now can’t hurt them so you’re not likely to be a threat. Cole needs the protection because he can identify them
If I were evil I wouldn’t kill Local until I find the other roles. He might as well have no role at this point. The good lawyer, the two cops, and the vigilante are much bigger threats. Killing local allows one more night/day for them to use their abilitiesHe is openly known. He and Cole are of course the top two evil targets.

If this were wolf and a day vote meant death, then any known member is a threat because they can create a coalition. This is Maria not wolfIf I were evil I wouldn’t kill Local until I find the other roles. He might as well have no role at this point. The good lawyer, the two cops, and the vigilante are much bigger threats. Killing local allows one more night/day for them to use their abilities
But then they can eliminate 2 people from the pool of potential threats and kill someone elseMaybe the mob targets me because they think Cole will be protected. Who knows!
@Zell 17 why do you not want Cole protected? Even if he can’t use his abilities, he is an asset to the town because of his deductive abilities. Do you and your mafia cronies want to whack him tonight for killing Alu? If Zell is the Don, we can only take him out via trial. Please change bandwagon to zell
Based on this group’s history this is basically proof that I’m innocentSomeone who has been on many people’s suspicion lists for good reason
I'm fairly sure you've gotten voted for as the GM. Only a true criminal would get accused when they're not even listed as a potential, possible, or plausible suspect.Based on this group’s history this is basically proof that I’m innocent
Not jailing him kills him off tonight. I’d rather another day of Cole than no more days of ColeThe problem with saying “protect cole tonight!” is many fold.
First, if he is jailed tonight then not only does he get no info, he can never be protected again. Therefore it’s a TRUE free kill on Cole.
Much better strategy is to say “Hey, maybe you should jail him. Maybe not.” because then the mafia will always be assuming SOME RISK by targeting him.
Only if the mafia knows he is not jailed. They’ve already tried to attack him and failed. Not jailing him kills him off tonight. I’d rather another day of Cole than no more days of Cole
Hope no one false role claims. Coke can only check one person per nightAlso if you are the vigilante/good cop/lawyer and haven’t already revealed yourself to both Cole and Local go ahead and do that.
And why exactly would he share that with you in particular?Cole can easily check someone out and PM me the person and role before he is given a nice new concrete anklet.
Because I'm expendable and beyond parricide objectively the worst person for the mob to murder at this stage of the game. And why exactly would he share that with you in particular?
I didn’t realize we had a priest this gameparricide
In a priest context parricide would be killing the father though... so effectively an anti-priest.I didn’t realize we had a priest this game
How fun! More games, more hijinks, more achievements, repeat!Cole's Trial Update
Local - Not Guilty
@Jawneh - in wrong courtroom
Tubby - Not Guilty
Benzine - Not Guilty
Joseph Snapple - Not Guilty
Arrest Warrant Update (5 Needed)
Zell (2) - shortkut, Tubby
Jawneh (2) - Local Hero, Ants!
canadaguy (1) - Jawneh
Something I forgot to mention at the top of the day because I was so busy trying to hurry before my tacos got cold...
Acheivement Unlocked!
The town found a Citizen to be Not Guilty at trial!
In future games, the Citizens will have access to the role of The Snitch (When arrested, gains knowledge of one random mobster)
And we should just believe that?Because I'm expendable and beyond parricide objectively the worst person for the mob to murder at this stage of the game.
Yeah why wouldn’t he just PM Local???Cole can easily check someone out and PM me the person and role before he is given a nice new concrete anklet.
Oh yeah. I forgot the Local slip. Yeah, send it to him instead.Yeah why wouldn’t he just PM Local???
Sure. As long as Cole plays along with sending me, or more preferably Local, or even both of us so that we dont lose out on info and can corroborate, we can convene tomorrow with info and not have the most likely death of Cole be completely lost. And we should just believe that?
