We need to keep Cole alive. Only the two cops can protect him by arresting him. Now, do we have a bad cop or was the extra kill day 1 the vigilante/button man?

If we have a bad cop, we need the other cop to save Cole tonight. If we don’t, then Cole is a sitting duck

Cole can’t be protected and still use his ability. Without his ability he is the same as every other Townie, except for the fact that he is a known good. The value in having another Cop lock up Cole is that the mafia might lose another kill attempt in trying to attack him.

Cole’s days are probably numbered and he knows that so I’m sure he’ll be dropping whatever it is that he thinks we need to know.

If I were evil I wouldn’t kill Local until I find the other roles. He might as well have no role at this point. The good lawyer, the two cops, and the vigilante are much bigger threats. Killing local allows one more night/day for them to use their abilities

I'm fairly sure you've gotten voted for as the GM. Only a true criminal would get accused when they're not even listed as a potential, possible, or plausible suspect.

Right now I think the most prudent thing thing to do is arrest Zell and let Cole figure out his own plan for night protection or not. This way it is masked for the mafia. I think it is best if he is alive as long as possible, even if he cannot investigate, whereas zell wants him murdered as soon as possible

Sure. As long as Cole plays along with sending me, or more preferably Local, or even both of us so that we dont lose out on info and can corroborate, we can convene tomorrow with info and not have the most likely death of Cole be completely lost.
