if my plans hadn't changed due to shortkut exposing my clues, and Alu not being active, if you had put me on trial I wouldn't have given you Any thing. my death would've been easier to confirm than my trial would have been.

I won’t ever try to get into Cole’s head. But look at it this way:

Everyone seems to agree Alu is likely mafia. So putting him on stand seems prudent. If he ends up being that exact role, the Consigliere, doesn’t that give powerful evidence that Cole is a good guy? The other alternatives being:

1) Cole stone-cold read his exact role. Not that he was evil, but his exact role. Based on what, 6-7 posts?
2) Cole is mafia and is selling Alu. Obviously more likely than number 1. But this isn’t a smart play because the mafia is on the brink of having another citizen on stand (me) and basically winning the game right there.

In any case, if Cole is gonna be this forceful over something then I'm gonna see where it leads. I'll vote Alu for trial.

I'm not you. I won't sell out a wolf/mobster I'm working with unless they are already going down for it.

I would never out of the blue sell out a team mate unless I needed to.

I'd be more likely to have them sell ME out.

this game there are 4 special Citizen roles, chosen from the following:

Citizens:
Lawyer: Once per game can release a Defendant from Jail, by contacting the Governor via DM.
Gumshoe: Each night, can investigate a player, discovering their role.
Good Cop: Once per game, at night, can arrest a player to be put on trial the next day.
Vigilante: Each night, can execute a player.
Judge: Once per game, during a trial, can either release a player or condemn them to death.

I know gumshoe is claimed by someone lol, couldn't there still be both vigilante and judge?

okay, slight misspeak and fair question.

there is either a vigilante, a judge or BOTH. but "neither" is not an option.

there are 5 potential town roles, but only 4 exist in the game. So its impossible to have NEITHER a judge nor a vigilante. But yes, it is possible to have both, a slight misspeak on my part.

this was in my first post of this day phase.

I have a feeling we have a bad cop. and if we do, he's out of ammo. that role doesn't feel like it "ends" the game like the Fool does. it feels like a simultaneous win condition if no one finds him. IF I AM RIGHT the threat of the bad cop is effectively gone. If he just randomly puts someone on trial, I mean... we deal with it the same way we are with TD today, we always assume innocence when someones on trial.

yes, IF I AM RIGHT about my theory that it was a bad cop that took the second shot on night 0. At no time did I say "if I am right" about Alu. I don't THINK Alu is mafia, I'm not "claiming" I'm 100% certain.

I am 100% certain. Alu is the Consigliere. full stop.

Edit: it's a fairly clever spin though, hoping no one would go back and actually check when I said it.

but its pretty obvious to anyone that can read that I was talking about whether or not we have a bad cop.

we're all busy, but I don't get the point in playing these games if you're not intending to read everything. it's been well established and a running joke that these games generate 100s of posts a day.

again, I'm not knocking people for having lives, and I'm not knocking them for wanting to play, these games are fun.

Went and checked, top 30% in activity! Despite having had only maybe two hours of internet access this day phase and I’ll have zero access starting around 4 PM today until 4 PM Saturday.

So when I ask for clarification, I really mean it. I don’t remember every single thing said before. You said you checked someone and they died? I didn’t remember so thanks for reminding me.

And even on a GOOD day subtlety is lost on me. You need to hit me with a hammer.
