Haha, all good! I figure it's probably easier this way, especially if I pester Crystal to make (more) adjustments to the coding.

I think between PSNProfiles, PlayStationTrophies and TrueTrophies I'll get by. Thankfully this is easier since we're generally just tracking the Platinums, but seeing the 100%'s and parsing out which games do and don't have DLC shouldn't be too bad. Until someone shows up with a couple hundred games I've never even heard of before, with stacks on different platforms and in different regions and whatnot.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey (platted and 100%ed all the dlc trophies. shouts out to kassandra)
ASTRO's PLAYROOM (i platted this one the day i got my ps5 lol. at least it was nice and short. there's an add-on i haven't really messed with so i'm not at 100% for it
Burnout Paradise Remastered (haven't done any of the dlc)
DRAGON BALL FighterZ (this is the one I'm proudest of. 0.3% plats on this one. i had to get good at ranked online play for it)

I need to pre-emptively explain why I have 100% on both AC: Freedom Cry and Black Flag (which includes Freedom Cry).

I never cared about completing DLC (or buying it, for that matter) until I joined PSN Profiles. But it's really dissatisfying on that website to see so many games I've platinumed not marked as completed. I remembered that Freedom Cry was available for free somehow (maybe a past PS+ game?), so I downloaded that and started playing. Once I got my first trophy for it, I realized that it was for the standalone game, and not the set of trophies tied to Black Flag. So I ended up beating it again for the trophies tied to the game :wallbash

I don't have any such excuses. I did both the last gen and current gen versions (on Xbox, obviously), DLC and all, back-to-back because I'm just dumb. God that was an awful experience.

And yes, joining or looking at any of these websites is just asking for trouble. That's how they get you. :chuckle

It's fairly on my list... recently went back and got 100% on Sonic Adventure after putting that off for a decade. I wanted to die. I'm going to want to die again with SA2, I'm sure. So I feel you! :chuckle

The only platinums I ever got were for South Park: The Stick of Truth and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean because they were both fairly easy

. Lego games in general always were. Looking at that PSNProfiles site it looks like I was extremely close to getting one on Lego LotR as well. I was never much of a completionist or achievement hunter type, but I really enjoyed Stick of Truth when I played it, and when I beat it I immediately wanted to do another run to see what little things I missed, so I just kinda said screw it and went for the Plat. Think I tried to do it again for the sequel, but got tired of it a ways into my second playthrough.

Stick of Truth can be a bit tricky because there are a lot of missable trophies. I had to use a guide on my second play through and still felt like I might have missed one or two things, but it's a super fun game, so worth playing more than once!

I can't believe how well done the game was. I got it on my Switch on sale last year and it was a blast!! Disappointing that switch doesn't have achievements/trophies!

Even as someone that's heavily favored RPGs for an eternity, replaying them - especially for achievements/trophies - is pretty damn rough. Doesn't matter what variant they are; by their nature they're all long, and most don't significantly change from one playthrough to the next. Bonus: most RPGs make you play at least twice! 'Cause the developers are assholes.

Everything should be added in up through here. Forgot how much of a wild west affair trophies are, so, at some point this weekend I'm going to start going back over the list and see about noting stacks in as much of a non-awful way as possible. Especially with how often ports and Remasters happen.

This is a bit of a long shot, but if anyone is interested in boosting trophies (or achievements over in the other thread), Gamewinners is probably the best place to do it compared to Reddit/the other various sites.

The main game I'm looking to boost on is COD: WWII (for the Zombies trophies in the base game, but could be talked into buying the DLC). At some point, I will also go back to Destiny I and Star Wars Battlefront I to clean those up, but I think I would need a Destiny expert for some handholding, since it has been years. Let me know if anyone has any of these games and is interested in helping

COD: WWII was free on PS+ essential at one point, so you might have it and not even know!

oh yeah, i had to master it for the y0 plat which was my first one. i had never really understood it before but one day i got super baked and it finally clicked lol. it helps that the game tracks a lot of the hands for you. now i honestly love playing mahjong! i spend so much time in the parlor for fun nowadays (in yakuza not in real life of course. not sure there are any mahjong parlors in nc…)

Yesterday I got the plat for Bioshock 2, and today I finished the second DLC. I enjoyed the game, but the Protector Trials were a bit much for me. I see why people would like them, but I found them a bit stressful and tedious. In any case, I'm glad I was able to power through those today.

I'm a bit torn on what to do next - Bioshock Infinite, Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, or Shadow of the Colossus. I've played all 3 games, but need to clean up the trophies. I'm leaning towards Infinite.

On the subject of mini games with achievements, Assassin's Creed 3 & 4 can both bite me. Those Fanorona AI are just absolutely ridiculous; even cheating and using online solvers, it basically forces a stalemate until it randomly decides to let you win. Hopefully Mahjong and such in Yakuza isn't quite that bad. :chuckle

As for achievement/trophy boosting, I'll see about whipping up a list of what I've got in the backlog for both consoles.

in my yakuza experience thus far the most frustrating minigame was the batting center in yakuza 3. it almost broke my spirit but then it didn't

a lot of the gambling minigames in yakuza have associated cheat items that make it easier to cheese it enough to clear off the completion list, which is nice. but mahjong took some learning. now like i said i honestly love playing it. it's over for me whenever i finally break down and play ffxiv mahjong

Put me down for Bioshock Infinite, including the 100%

I have to say that the Clash in the Clouds DLC was really fun. It was similar in concept to the Bioshock 2 DLC where you protect little sisters, but way better executed. This mode was basically a more traditional horde mode. I liked that you basically became more powerful every time you played. If I had this DLC growing up, I could see myself sinking a lot of time into it.

This also finishes all 3 Bioshock games for me. I would say Infinite was the hardest one to complete because its highest difficulty had a couple of fights that were pretty rough, especially if you didn't upgrade your abilities in anticipation of one specific fight that repeats 3 times. The first game was super easy because you can cheese the difficulty trophy, and the second game wasn't too bad because you can basically keep respawning over and over and enemies keep the damage they previously had, so eventually you can beat the hardest parts.

As for how fun the games are, I'm going to stick with my ranking after playing them the first time of Infinite > 1 > 2

I still need to get around to doing Infinite at some point, myself. The online stuff in BS2 just really wore me down, plus it just... wasn't particularly well thought out or fun. The multiplayer, that is. Liked the single-player well enough.

Wanted to actually get this updated over the weekend, but I've managed to get endlessly distracted with life and writing entirely too long of messages in various places instead. :chuckle

Ah I guess I'm lucky to be doing the PS4 re-releases - there's no online/multiplayer. Few things are more defeating than online trophies.

Indeed. PS360 was (obviously) bad about the tacked-on multiplayer modes, but I didn't mind that in and of itself. There were even a couple that ended up being really fun, if still not necessary. But then you had stuff like BioShock 2, Resident Evil 5 and Army of Two - where the multiplayer wasn't good, and they probably knew that, but still decided to try to get people to play it by having huge time sink or grind achievements/trophies tied to them.

If memory serves it took like 20 hours of pure boosting to knock out the BS2 online achievements. Could not imagine how long it would take if done legit. Glad to hear the remaster doesn't carry that over, though others like RE5 (and RE6) still do. Woo.

My PSN name is Lunakki and I have 11 platinums.

I was just working on getting a platinum for Boyfriend Dungeon, and I got everything before I realized there's an awful minigame that's not fun or related to the rest of the game in any way, and I simply don't have the patience or desire to beat it.

I want to platinum Cult of the Lamb, but it's grindy and I keep getting distracted by other games.

I would have a platinum in No Man's Sky if the game hadn't corrupted my save with several hundred hours on it. Literally the only one I'm missing is to warp some number of times, which is trivial to get. I could probably start a new game and get it in a few hours but I'm still too salty about it.
