Okay, I'm gonna go do some stuff before starting to read this thing and see how badly TD thought I was mafia until I was dead.

There was a moment I thought you were but it was based on nothing, that changed though pretty soon after.

So now that Jawneh has 100% confirmed that Fools is a bad guy. How the bloody hell did the city not kill him?!

He played it cool and acted like he was only on trial for silly reasons. Like it wasn't even worth taking seriously because the accusations against him were so silly. That often works, especially in a game like this where the city is unsure and not wanting to be the one to make a mistake. Even though letting off a mobster is generally a much bigger mistake than killing a suspicious citizen.

The biggest red flag about FR was that he was refusing to role claim even when allowed.

That's kind of on brand for Fool, the whole "I'm not going to share helpful information because nobody will believe me even though it makes me look suspicious" thing.

Tells are 100% a distraction. The only way to make them even possibly useful is what Zell suggested and shush everyone.

This would only work though if you know who the bomber is though. Otherwise your time window to find the bomber is very limited.

For the record - I agree. That's why I went over 30 day 1 and was trying to get others to go over too to at least... narrow it down.

canadaguy and I even had a very open dialogue about who shouldn't go over 30 on Day 1.

To give some insight into the idea of how we made the tells. We were trying to make tells that even when you get a clue would not be super obvious who the mafia person is. Things that people can do by accident not knowing it was a tell. For example with this, TD got the clue and narrowed down to 7 people. That being said people still can't stop posting animals.

I've never seen a united town, ever.

What I usually see is a bunch of confused people who don't know what to do and can't find common ground.

They don't let anyone lead a strategy unless the strategy is "____ is bad because I'm a seer."

They could also tell somebody who is voted to go on trial that they must post 30+ times that day so they only get one post on their trial day, or the city will definitely vote them guilty. That'd work better if CG hadn't outed himself though.

Sadly the mafia probably knows who he is and they seem to be coming to a dumb Day 3 consensus to get rid of the bomber.

The biggest thing I learned from Zell's games... everyone goes after the solo way too early.

When I was the Illusionist the entire wolf team sold out all 3 members of their team to come get me.

The solo should really only be targeted when it's the final part of your conditon to be met.

Mmm the solo killer is a bit of a double-edged sword. We've all seen how they often don't go after the targets you'd expect. Keeping them around is a good distraction, but they're also the biggest threat to the mob at this point.

They are and somebody from the town needs to point this out.

The fact that FR and Kelly both so quickly agreed with cg who mentioned getting rid of the bomber only solidifies to me that those two are guilty mobsters.

I hope cg is just fishing and doesn't mean it though...

Yeah but as we've seen - this town isn't going to vote guilty unless they KNOW.

You only need to worry about the bomber if there's 1-2 mobsters left. There's still 3. Not a problem right now.

I'm inclined to agree that Kelly is Mafia. He's trying to make Local look suspicious when he's really, really not. He's intentionally misinterpreting posts to do so, which is something I've seen him do as an evil player before.
