Some people will argue that MMX2 is better than X1, so another great choice so late in the game.Megaman X2
EVO: Search for Eden
Evo was this mad but amazing game a lot like Spore where you start off as a tiny fish and get steadily bigger, customising your character's appearance and abilities as you go. It surprised me with its really good gameplay and journey it takes you on.
Yeah I like MMX2 moreSome people will argue that MMX2 is better than X1, so another great choice so late in the game.
EVO is such a unique and incredible game. Loved that one. Towards the end of the game it gets hard as fuck though, and you really need to min-max to stand a chance.
I have never heard of this one and look forward to checking it outIn that case, I’m going to pick an obscure little gem, and I have my BFF card on the table if anyone here remembers it, let alone loves it.
A very simple little strategy game with shitty graphics, but I love it, and I go back and replay it more often than any other game. Gemfire.
NHLPA '93 on Genesis was my favoriteI think I preferred 95 on Genesis a bit more, but 94 is where I cut my teeth
I don't think I ever beat the second level. The Lion King still don’t think I ever beat this .
This game caused so much unnecessary childhood rage. I did beat it but still. The Lion King still don’t think I ever beat this .
@TD show us some magic
What? You skipped a couple@Fire Queen is next up to the podium
Stop being a nerd and just choose Shaq-Fu alreadyI need a few. I gotta go back through posts to see what is and isn't around.
Super was taken, not TurboI think this is still here but please tell me if I missed where it was picked lol
Street Fighter II Turbo
A FZero BR game which is just the original game with 99 players and some extras is not something I would have ever bought in to. I feel like most people have been hoping for a other mainstream FZero game.might i say: l o fucking l
The Direct made it quite clear that dev focus has shifted to the Switch's successor. I think that's why there was so much focus on 90s games, remakes, and B-tier titles (like Peach's Showtime). I think FZero specifically is testing the waters for a next-gen sequel, and I'm hoping (but not confident) that SMRPG is doing the same.A FZero BR game which is just the original game with 99 players and some extras is not something I would have ever bought in to. But then, based on IGN'S quick rundown of Nintendo Direct, it seemed heavily focused on capitalizing on 90s era nostalgia instead of making something for this generation of consoles.
I thought they were going for a beefier Switch. Mostly same tech but better internal hardware so that games like Zelda can run at faster FPS' more consistently. The Direct made it quite clear that dev focus has shifted to the Switch's successor. It'll be a true successor, I think. It's been, what, 6/7 years since the Switch came out? Switch but more powerful is all I need tbh, I wouldn't want them to go back to non-handheld consoles.I thought they were going for a beefier Switch. I'm just speculating about SMRPG and FZero. If there's a true successor that has both a new Super Marios RPG and a new F Zero I might need it. Especially if I'd also be able to get the remade Super Mario RPG on it too.
Haven't bought a game system since the PS3 (well...SNES mini)

The battletoads of snesThis game caused so much unnecessary childhood rage. I did beat it but still.
Ah yes, my least favorite classic Mega Man game from 1-11. Don't know why it's so beloved but it does have a huge fan base, so it's a good pick this late in the game.... but can it beat THIS:lot of decent options on the board but as a former sprite comic maker/appreciator...
Mega Man 7
Since NHL 94 was stolen from me (I dropped SO many hours into Adam Oates to Cam Neeley one timers), I have to go to my backup I'm sad about:
Super Punch Out
Then on the turn for round four hoping to hit some nostalgia heart strings:
The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse
Sorry, Kelly claimed that onePerhaps we're all suffering from good taste.
Edit: oh, you were just joking. Thank god
I was gonna take Castlevania 4, so uhhhh I guess I'll go with Super Punch-Out. That game is frustrating but HELL does it ooze charm. Also a secret 2-player mode was discovered in that game only like 4 years ago lolol
