Really? I guess I'll delete it then and laugh at whoever takes it

Oh yeah I see it in the rules. My bad!

For those of you reading this who aren't playing, feel free to hop in and discuss how it's going/who you're rooting for/shitpost...I just ask that you don't name any games that haven't already been picked.

How has nobody gotten this
Perhaps we're all suffering from good taste.
Edit: oh, you were just joking. Thank god

I was gonna take Castlevania 4, so uhhhh I guess I'll go with Super Punch-Out. That game is frustrating but HELL does it ooze charm. Also a secret 2-player mode was discovered in that game only like 4 years ago lolol

FIRST ROUND ANALYSIS
Unlike the NES game, I don't think there's a consensus #1 pick for the SNES but Jon might have gone with the closest thing to it with LTTP. Can't argue with that as the #1 at all.

Kelly, Fool's, Ascension, and TD all showing that they're already veterans in this game by each grabbing games I would argue also could have gone at the 1 spot.

We saw a few players go for games that have sentimental value. Maybe a reach in the first round, but you'd hate to miss out on them altogether, so I get it.

My favorite pick: Even though TD took my favorite SNES game, I have to give the nod to Rick52 this round, as Yoshi's Island was my favorite Mario game all the way until the Nintendo Switch.

SECOND ROUND ANALYSIS
Marlfox right out of the gate showing the sheer power of the snake draft, following up an excellent final pick of the first round with a game so good that Nintendo is finally making a legit remake with Mario RPG.

Things settled down a bit in the second round, with fewer out-and-out surprises. Fire Queen may have made some enemies by easily collecting several games from the NES draft in one fell swoop.

The main theme of the round might be showcasing the sheer amount of class RPGs that were available on the system, with 5 of the 12 picks being from my preferred genre.

My favorite pick: But enough about RPGs, because Smacktard got an absolute GEM late in the round with Mega Man X. This game was a first-round pick on my big board.

I'm torn on this next one. I don't know of it's good value because I don't think it was ever that popular but in my opinion it is honestly one of the best SNES games and I can't even tell you how many times I beat it.

Excellent game. I was planning on a later pick for the same reasons you mentioned

Evo was this mad but amazing game a lot like Spore where you start off as a tiny fish and get steadily bigger, customising your character's appearance and abilities as you go. It surprised me with its really good gameplay and journey it takes you on.
