TD seems to have abandoned his orignal pick when he saw maximum value with SMB1 still sitting on the board.

shortkut's strategy could pay off as he's picking beloved titles that don't necessarily jump out at you, but people stan them big time.

Tommy might be picking a list that appeals to me specifically

Zell and Crystal going head to head for the hearts and minds of the hardcore gamers.

Fool's showing a propensity for finding good value at the end of the rounds.

ROUND 3 COMMENTARY:

One of my biggest questions going into the draft was whether or not we should do a snake draft.

For those of you who aren't familiar with fantasy drafts, in a snake draft you invert the order of the draft each round. So whoever got the last pick of the round, gets the first pick of the next round. This is done to create balance.

On one side we have Kelly, who with his Castlevania pick, has continued to prove the power of the first position.

But on the other side we have Fool's who has DONE IT AGAIN and grabbed an AMAZING game with River City Ransom at the end of the round.

At first I was concerned I made the wrong call with eschewing a snake draft, but Fool's continues to make me feel better about that call.

ELSEWHERE: Ascension had maybe the best value pick of the draft so far, with Final Fantasy being a contender for a 1st round pick in my book. And Zell might be the official dark horse of the draft with another solid hardcore gamer pick.

Nice, was thinking of doing this too when my list started looking platformer-heavy, but FUCK IT.

Mega Man 4.

I think we're all gonna have a MM game on our lists at this point and while MM2 seems to be crowd favorite, I personally liked the later ones. MM3 brought the slide, but this one brought the charge shot and Protoman, series staples.
(That said, MM9 is my favorite game and it doesn't even have a charge shot )
