I made a mistake of getting rid of Power Stone almost 2 decades ago because I was a Smash Bros fan and I didn't get it. Now the game is unobtainable unless I want to drop 100 bucks on a copy.

I can't help you with the others. I do have both Jet Grind games, tho. Radio is one of the few Dreamcast games I have a complete copy of. It's even got the Dreamcast product registration card that almost everyone throws away.

I have to confess that I and VI are the only FFs I've started, and never finished. ...Mostly because I played Origins and Anthology, and OH MY FUCKING GOD THE LOADING TIMES. I need them Pixel Remasters on Xbox 'cause, uh, I also own the games on GBA and just couldn't muster up enough fucks to get around to them.

But, generally? Yeah. I don't wanna replay the whole game just to mess around with stats and Espers in different ways; I wanna have some robust endgame (see: X's Arena) that lets me do it ad-hoc.

XI is the best game in the series for stat masochists. So, I understand.

Oh I didn't understand it through my first few playthroughs as a kid.

You technically don't even need to min max like that. I always used to just swap based on learning spells and that's it.

But yeah, boy howdy did they ever have loading times. Before battles, after battles, changing maps, may or may not have been a slight delay in menus... they were just really shoddily done ports, and the move from cartridge to CD did them no favors.

This, coupled with Classic FF not being particularly swift-moving to begin with, just made for an utterly horrible experience. I got a bit after the Opera House, I believe, where you jump off of Setzer's airship and engage some sort of mech boss while free falling. Lost the fight, realized I hadn't saved in a decent chunk of time, and just shelved the damn thing.
