Why Kat?

Gunta only ever saw two serious requests to receive a the gift of gun. Of those, kut is also in the gun-giving business, and thus in my professional opinion (purely for the gimmick purposes) I can't in good faith gift a gun to a peer. The IRS would have Gunta's jingle bells.

But more on the game theory side, reading through a bunch of the stuff yesterday people were saying in between shit posting, there were some people who seemed to be likely agency, and some who seemed more mobster than anything, and thus made chose Kat. It's a double-whammy!

I would suspect that if they exist it's because like you said, the mob doesn't want to kill them because their value comes in death; so perhaps counting on the mob making a blind kill and then information coming out of it is what they'd want.

IMO, partners do NOT want to expose their role. Kinda like an Avenger or Loudmouth. If a partner dies, the other is notified who a killer is. They want to remain hidden so that the bad guys can hit the bait.

Has no powers other than knows who their partner is. If their partner is murdered, will know receive one of the murderer's names. Can communicate via PM.

also, TBH, we really need more town roles that HAVE to remain secret, so that bad guys can't use that information to their advantage.
