Went to the ol closeout merchandise/excess inventory store and saw they put a Tesla dealership nextdoor.

Played in my first solo disc golf tournament today. It was at my hometown course. Shot +5 in Round 1 and +7 in Round 2 for a total of +12. Got 1st place in the lowest amateur division (Mixed Amateur 4)! It was fun to compete in a tournament setting and was a beautiful day to be on the course.

Yep, that's right! She lived in Belton, MO (my hometown) for a time as a kid and is buried there.

The front of it was a restaurant and the club was a very poorly hidden saloon in the back.

I don't have a death wish though so I deployed an umbrella.

Citronella plants seemed to have helped with the bee problem too. Haven't seen any in a good week or so.

Drinking hot tea raises your internal body temp so you don't notice how hot it is! It's pretty common in Spain or Italy or whenever the fuck. Also obviously England.

I'd still get frustrated if a dude couldn't get it in on the first try. Second at best.

Hot take... I don't like backup cameras, and I've driven hundreds of cars with them over the years. Call me old-fashioned, but, I prefer "manually" checking my surroundings. Hell, I don't even need windshield mounted rear view. I'm fine with just using the passenger side mirror if I don't feel like going for the over-the-shoulder Driver's Ed approved method.

I love sweet tea, but I don't want diabetes so I try to not drink it too often. Hot tea with or without honey is good enough for me.

Sure, I'd agree. You should be able to do it without the camera without a doubt. But when the SUV looks new enough it probably has the whole "curves to show your path as you turn" and line sensors, etc. there shouldn't be any excuse.

My RAV4 only has a basic cam on the back that doesn't angle itself. Just stays fixed and has a line to show how close you can get to something and still open the back hatch. My Matrix ain't got shit, you're doing that bitch with mirrors like an Egyptian.

I caught a spider on the bathroom wall, and noticed some beetle thing in there too, also trapping that in the glass. As I carried them towards the balcony door little spider-dude pounced and looked like he was gonna have a meal, but after I tipped them out onto a planter he let go and beetle thing ran off.

The excuse then becomes the driver has been conditioned to rely too heavily on the sensors and not their own eyes. When I'd be in parking lots staking out cars for hours on end, and I'd always make a game out of who was gonna take the longest time to park, and it's always the ones illuminated in blue from the screen with their face buried into the console and looking nowhere near their mirrors.

The static lines are the best, in my opinion. The curving lines seem too unnatural to me. Especially if the angle shifts with the turning of the wheel, and not just the general orientation.
