Okay but what was the end game there? A wolf claims a role that he will very likely get proven a wolf for claiming? Even if they lucked out and there was nobody who could speak with the dead, there are still a limited number of strong roles, and they killed the one that can't prove itself. There's no way that plan would work for long, and most likely would fail nearly immediately.

So why do it? Seems weird.

Here's my understanding of things so far based on what I've read. Please let me know if I missed anything day 1.

Zell was the detective and checked Jon + dimmerwit. Result was that they're on different sides.

dimmerwit is lynched and revealed as the Trickster Wolf. If dimmerwit is NOT the Trickster Wolf, then Jon could be anything. If dimmerwit WAS the Trickster Wolf, then Jon is a townie or solo.

Vash and Kat were also checked by Zell and are on the same team so **probably** town but could maybe be both wolf.

shortkut was priest and WAS going to holy water Jon but targeted canadaguy instead who isn't a wolf so kut died.

To me the most interesting thing so far is still this interaction with Zell, dimmerwit, and Jon. No matter what, dimmerwit and Jon are on different sides. It also seems pretty likely dimmerwit would've been targeted by the Trickster Wolf though as they would've had all day to plant it. So given that, I feel like it implies that dimmerwit was a townie or solo, most likely townie by pure numbers. So given that, assuming there wasn't a wolf seer or good luck to aid the wolves, Jon is **probably(?)** a wolf or solo?

Zell said it yesterday and I confirmed it. I am an Avenger. And that's not a role I can or would choose as a fake role.

I've been trying to confirm dimmerwit as the preacher without blatantly saying I talked to him, but I talked to him and he is. He revealed this without knowing a ritualist would show up.

I am inclined to believe dimmerwit is keeping with the ruse, and I can believe you're the ritualist, but my man, you couldn't be more wrong about me. So either Benzine made a boo boo or you're being got.

I was weary to take it as a fact, but based on how he said it in his post before I got there and Benzine announced me, I believed it. But nothing wrong with being apprehensive. If I can get some sort of protection tonight, we can find out what Zell's read was from yesterday and have more to work off of, so we can table the Jon thing for tomorrow (god willing). We can pivot to Jawneh but we're fucked if he's the fool. So far, no gunner has come out to play, so I guess lynching and banana's power are all we know we have.

It's one and done. Gunner does retain any unused shots if brought back, for example.

No sense in bringing back someone without a power to take someone else out, so it would make sense to bring you back if there is no gunner or bully, but we have to also see if Kelly can legitimately protect.
