What am I doing wrong with the custom cards? I obviously have the crackle, but I can’t select it for a card

so I tested out the Yondu-cable synergy and it's not bad, you effectively taking 2 cards from your opponents, one by discarding and te other just straight up taking. which even if you don't use the card that Cable takes it's another card your opponent doesn't have. I'm sure there's other cards you can use with it but that seems pretty toxic

You have it with the foil

Oh, I thought you can mix and match to make a custom card as long as it was unlocked for that specific card

Yeah, plus because of Yondu its a better chance the Cable pull is a better card.

Its a cute interaction, I need to experiment with it.

I was really tempted to try and snag a couple keys to get Mockingbird but I'm starting to wonder if she's gonna be all that great. At first I thought she'd be great in Loki decks, but you'd basically have to top deck her.

Might just keep saving for War Machine. He looks ridiculous.

Used one key and got Ms Marvel. Tempted to stop but Mockingbird does look good. I run Thanos and like Patriot decks, and she seems to fit brilliantly with those.

I think I need to get Mockingbird. The initial reaction is extremely positive and she is great in decks that I use.

Been messing with a Moon Girl/Mockingbird/She-Hulk thing that isn't setting the world on fire for wins or cubes but is really fun to play so w/e.

To be fair decks being fun to play is my priority with this game. There's certainly some efficiency needed when getting to Infinite, but otherwise I want to have fun playing the game. She'll fall right into that I think. Early doors though I can see her coming down to a 5-8. She feels very strong now, because it's not hard to get her down to a 2-9 or 3-9. Even at 5-8 I think she'll be powerful.

Mockingbird for the 8 cuber! Thanos had been brought in by Lockjaw and Vision was where DD is. Last turn I moved Vision to middle, played 0 cost Mockinbird and power stone there too to get Thanos to 20, and then played DD right. If he played one Swarm in the middle instead of left he wins, but then he no doubt expected Thanos to go to 20 and didn’t know Mockingbird was coming. Such a close game, but Mockingbird the difference.

Essentially, you get a new copy of the card with a special background effect and a flair effect (if it is your second split of that card).

This new copy starts at common level, and itself can be upgraded up to infinity. Rarer backgrounds (gold, inked) and rarer flairs (krackle) can be obtained by splitting a card multiple times.

I'm sure I'm not the first one here to discover this but I've been having a lot of fun with using the ol Hood/Sentry/Annihilus package but dropping Valkyrie when they expect and play around Annihilus.

It's free real estate.

I've got Nico in there because she has great synergy with Valkyrie a lot of times on turn 6, especially if you get the "the next card you play gets +2" gimmick.

Ravonna/Hobgoblin/Xavier nonsense going on in there too.

Spider-Ham for disruption and turn 1 information.

Enchantress and Shadow King for counterpunching. Enchantress eats well in the current meta.

And Jeff. Cause Jeff.

I've got another similar deck I mess with that uses Lady Deathstrike instead of Valkyrie for the surprise non-Annihilus. It's like a half-destroy package. Carnage and Deathstrike to clean up Hood and The Void. Toss Bucky in the same location as either Hood or Void for a last turn Winter Soldier Swing. Also has Gladiator and Yondu to help work towards a cheap Death. It was SUPER consistent before the recent patch, my best deck on my way to infinite last season. Yondu shouldn't be affected in this one though because he was literally there for info and cheaper Death.

Being able to have animated inked cards with the basic border is amazing.

Bucky doesn't really work in that one. He's mainly here to help Prof X lanes, so maybe something like Lizard that would throw decent power at that lane?
