I'm not at all, theres lots of ideas I have for Skaar, for sure. But my first thought was Hela, because I had a wrong impression of how it would work.

I thought it was somewhat soft all the way around.

Loki being changed to not interact with Collector - so that Collector can remain good for other decks that come along. But yeah, Loki GONE. Put it back at 3 mana.

Losing the 0 power shifts hurts heaps.

Not fussed about Ms Marvel, I love playing 2 cards in the lanes anyway. Still the best card in the game.

Loki changed from “replace” to “transform”. They use transform to mean change without triggering another key word - like that symbiote location not destroying things. So this means that lokis on reveal won’t increase collectors power.

I thought the patch changes were interesting. I do come across quite a bit of Ms Marvel where they only play one card each side, so the change will help that. Equally, I’d been looking at aiming for Annihilus when he comes up in a few weeks, but I’m not going to bother now. Means I probably won’t be using Selene for a while, but that’s fine. It was all about pulling Iron Lad, which I did do and he’s great.

If I don’t have Magik is the current spotlight still worth going for? I’ve played against quite a few HE decks and comfortably win more than I lose against them. In normal matches my Blob deck beats HE decks. I’m mainly using two other decks beyond that.

First is a Sera/Iron Lad/Doom/Brood/Absorbing Man/ deck with Shang Chi, Enchantress, Cosmo, Armour. So I can get decent power on individual locations and then counter whatever my opponent does.

Second is a Patriot deck with Kazaar, Blue Marvel, Iron Lad, and then Misty, Squirrel Girl, Brood, Sinister, Doom etc. Just pulled Patriot and based it around him.

Also got functional Move/Phoenix and Discard/Black Knight decks, but just haven’t used them as much. So no desperate rush for particular cards. Wanted to form a junk deck but that’s really out the window with the Annihilus nerf. Can I use HE without Magik? Caeira looks good but I get around Shang Chi in my Blob deck by playing Zola or Armour, which works fine.

I'm usually targeting inks (just personal preference) so usually want a flare that is either white, black or matches the name plate.

But on gold purple krackle would fuckin pop
