No bug in this case. The player just forced Super Skrull to take on Lizard's Ongoing, and with all the Onslaught effects it made a fucking mega crater of a score.

I would have played rogue not lizard on the left, but that’s probably why I’ve never reached infinite
Rogue left on its own wouldn't do anything because good boy Cosmo there.

Lizard mid/right and rogue left would have the same outcome, since skrull would still take lizards ongoing and rogue fills the lane to activate. That way saves lizard from going negative himself (not that it makes a difference). There is a tiny tiny risk opponent could have Echo and could cancel lizard out there, so safer to do the sure thing and drop him safely there

Alright guys, advice time. Just pulled Loki from the spotlight. Good card to have this early I think, but finding ideas for decks is tricky.

Cards I have after pool two are Phoenix Force (also spotlight), Ghost, Torch, M’Baku, Colleen Wing, Falcon, Maria Hill, Brood, Luke Cage, Psylocke, Juggernaut, Gambit, Lockjaw, Absorbing Man, Spidermam, Taskmaster, Ultron, Magneto.

Thoughts? I’ve basically stuck Chavez in a deck that aims to be as disruptive as possible until I pull Loki. So Iceman, Yondu, Spider-Man, Scorpion, Killmonger, Shang Chi, Absorbing Man, Lizard. Put Morph in there for the chaos factor but would prefer something else. Psylocke to bring Loki out a turn early. Haven’t tested it yet though.

do you have Collector?

devil dinosaur?

make a deck that draws cards to your hand, Agent 13, Cable are both early cards and there's LOTS more. Maria Hill too, Lockjaw works in that deck since you can get multiple uses.

Yeah that sounds good. Whatever idea I had with that first deck didn't really work. I've seen some suggestions of DD and Collector. I've got both of those, and Lockjaw. I'll give it a go.
Collector, DD, Loki with a bunch of "draw" cards was my most successful deck for a while. (it was with cards you don't have yet, but still)

adding in Lockjaw and then slapping shit like Agent 13 or Loki or whoever on it gets free cards and a potential to run it back.

other cards you have/may have that surprisingly work well are Falcon (when he brings back all the 1s), you could use an Apocalypse combo with Lady Sif if you have her, when Apocalypse reforms he counts +1 for Collector and gives you a big finish if needed.

here's mine, you won't have everything but you should have a good core to experiment with.

Do you think he’s worth it?
I'm so on the fence too.

I know good multi use tech cards are always handy, but I'll almost never "spend" for cards that I can't find a specific deck for.

he seems like a great card to have, but I can't see an immediate slot for him in any of my decks.

if someone's got some ideas, I'd love to hear them

I have 2 spotlight keys, and none of the cards from this spotlight group but still hesitant on going for any since I don’t see where I would use them yet

I only have a knowledge of the fraction of the cards in the game, but off the top of my head he'd obviously have some use in a Knull and similar decks in the hope that you destroy the card he pulls. An alternative would be in an Ongoing deck, if you put him in the same location as Mojo when the opponent already has three cards in the same location, if he doesn't destroy the card then Mojo gets his +6 boost, and if he does the opponent needs to compensate for not only his power but Mojo's in putting that final card down to compete for the location.

Incidentally, the Loki deck you suggested is turning out well. I hadn't realised that Loki replaces all the cards in your current hand with opponent cards, and therefore the likes of Agent 13, Maria Hill, Sentinel etc can build your hand up before you play him. Collector is strong when paired with him, DD is a good backup or can sometimes be used together. Lockjaw is great for pulling out higher value cards but also getting extra cards from Agent 13 etc before they switch. I also love the absolute chaos of not knowing what cards you're getting from Agent 13 and Hill, not knowing what cards you're getting from the opponent, not knowing what cards you're getting from Lockjaw. But in theory at least I have an advantage because I can see the cards I have and can retreat if I don't get good pulls, whereas the opponent has no idea what I have, because my cards come from my hand, their hand and literally anywhere else with Agent 13, so it's really difficult to plan for and counter, even in Conquest. It's fun to play.

Just had a really fun play that I'm proud of.

Turn 6, other guy has long since snapped. All he has to do to win is not play any cards. But he doesn't know that.

I bet that he wants to see his Werewolf get a little bigger...and even if thats not his goal, I figure most of what he has in his hand is On Reveal (because Werewolf). One of the locations is locked down, and he has priority.

So I toss Abomination into the left lane (only enough power to win it if Werewolf moves), assuming he'll play an On Reveal mid and pop the Werewolf over. Which he does, making Werewolf 10 power as he leaps into the waiting arms of Mr. Shang Chi.

End up taking both lanes and the 4 cubes.

yeah, that deck is multiple win conditions. good power on collector or DD, or just copying 6 cards from the other guys deck at cheaper cost and playing multiple cards the final turn.

I added Wong to my deck and when Loki was still 3 cost, it made my deck unstoppable.

Loki. I have him pinned in my token shop, so I can still get him that way. Just want to make sure I have him when the spotlight with the Vote For Loki variant releases because I want that one so bad lol

I got Nico as my random 4th which was a fucking awesome pull this week

ATTENTION THE GREAT AVENGER HAS SOMETHING TO SAY

Avenger has like 12 spotlight keys. Hoping annihilus will be good so Avenger can spend some.
THE GREAT AVENGER HAS SPOKEN :smash 🤨

Seems quite good!

I've decided to wait though because I don't have Debrii either, so what's the point. If I could magically guarantee it in one though, I would defs get it.
