I made a mechanics change for Sheriff and Tough Guy. Instead of seeing a random wolf, they will see the "Lowest ranking" wolf. The wolves are ranked in the dictionary.

Not sure if I should take this as confirmation of a sheriff in this game or not. Hmm.

So I was trying to interpret what is going on with Cole because I'm curious.

I can't. There's a LOT of roles and with no way of knowing which ones are and are not present, the possibilities are plentiful.

I'm not fully believing you're a member of the town. You aren't playing the analysis game like you have been. Perhaps this is run over from previous games. Perhaps you're attempting to change up strategy.

What I do know is I am going to believe you're being truthful. I think you actually do know who a Wolf is to lynch. Whether that is because of a seer ability or because you're a Wolf yourself is left to be seen. I do trust you. I just don't think you have our best intentions in mind.

There are a lot of moving parts and the information isn't laid out plainly, that I've seen, to do some low-effort comparison.

So, we're doing it the annoying way bouncing between 3 different tabs. We assume Cole's not bluffing/trolling by default.

If Cole's 1) a member of the town and 2) performed a night action, then 3) his role is new this go around.
In this scenario we're looking at things like Sheriff and Jailer, I believe? So Cole would have a 50/50 shot at knowing the identity of a wolf, because the wolves killed. Or, he thinks he knows who the Random Killer is because he locked them up.

If 1 is a lie, then 2) he performed a night action last night and 3) his role was present in the previous game.
In the second scenario, he performed a night action from an anti-town role that was present in the last game. I think only the Serial Killer and the Wolf Seer apply in this scenario? The Random Killer didn't connect, so if they tried they were blocked in some way. The Wolf Seer is self-explanatory.

If 2 is a lie, then 1) he's pro-town and 3) his role was present before.
In this third scenario, Cole himself did nothing. The only options would be someone checking him, which would have to be something like an Aura Seer or Detective seeing that him and someone else were on opposing teams. Or, as previously stated, he was protected by the Tough Guy and now the Tough Guy (and I guess Cole) knows who the Random Killer is.


Or, something like that. I didn't pay attention to the last game to know what the randomly assigned roles were. Shift whatever needs to be shifted and all that.

I'm getting the feeling he's the Serial Killer. This isn't his usual game. His night action may have been completely blocked, either by the Tough Guy, or the Jailer jailed his target, or he's just stacking up kills to use on all the Wolves later on then playing us.

The only reason I can see anyone voting so far is if they'll be unable to tomorrow, but I would prefer people abstain due to a lack of evidence and conversation so far. I'm waiting until @Cole tells us who is a definite wolf. That'll at least give us some direction, because I don't know what to make of anyone right now. I should be available tomorrow a little if necessary, so I don't want to vote or abstain yet. I would also prefer we not skip the first day either, so we can see who's active.

Throwing this theory out there. If the spirit seer only investigated one person last night and they showed up as red (meaning they killed someone), and since Alu was the only player killed and it was by the wolves, would there be any way for that to be wrong?

Very good point. Or he could have checked two, and somehow got evidence that one was good (like he checked Alu too for example). And since he didn’t make that claim until his second post, that seems plausible.

It has to be, as far as I can see. Wolf Seer acts well before the Wolf kill happens.

If he’s playing it like last game, then yes. I used my ability on you the first night, and he came back immediately at the beginning of the night phase to tell us you are a detective, and then we all still had to vote.

That would make sense then. Maybe Alu was able to catch a wolf, but got killed before he could reveal. If Cole is the medium, then he can communicate with Alu.

Or Cole could be the spirit seer, and maybe he compared Alu to a wolf, or he checked a wolf, and saw they were red. With this, I think the shaman wolf targeting Alu would screw that up, though. The odds of that happening would be super slim, unless Alu did something to really piss the wolves off.
