i’ll add in my defense: if tubby really wanted to throw suspicion on me as the alchemist he would have bluffed getting a potion today. it was clear yesterday that i wanted tubby out of the picture, even switching my vote away from what was at the time a guaranteed execution (as alu helpfully pointed out). instead he is still trying to claim my role and is trying to start a bandwagon at the first opportunity. do not believe his honeyed words!

I can see why they alchemist, if Kelly is telling the truth (for the first time in his life!) Might do this. Right now the wolves either know or have a better shot of knowing who the alchemist is, and why would the town listen to a confirmed wolf? The remaining wolf can't night kill the alchemist and would have a hard time leading a charge against said alchemist.

However. If Kelly isn't lying, we have a confirmed beast hunter.

Also if I were the Alchemist in that situation I would have tried to off Local. Push me 100% into the town, whereas killing two townies would make it easy for the wolves to try to get me on their side with the townie numbers reduced.

@Zell 17 does the Beast Hunter receive notice of their trap working on Alchemist and does it block a potion delivery? Might sound like a stupid question, but the only reason I ask is because it doesn't show the spirit seer since it is not a night kill specifically. There is so much nuance in your game mechanics and want to make sure

Beast Hunter: At night, can place a beast trap on any player, including themselves. The subsequent night, the trap activates. Once the trap is activated, the player it is on is protected from normal evil/solo attacks. If a werewolf attacks that player, the lowest ranking werewolf will be killed instead of the target. If the solo killer attacks, the trap will trigger but both the solo killer and the person the trap is on will be unharmed. The Beast Hunter is always told if their trap activates. The entire village is told that the Beast Hunter's trap killed a wolf if it does so. This ability is used by PMing the name of the player they would like to place the trap on or move the trap to. Aura: Unknown.

This makes the most sense from yesterday's shenanigans. Kelly was the last person to vote for Benzine when he reached peak votes, and then tried to convince us to instead go for the yet unproven alchemist so that we wouldn't get information on either him or Benzine. Giving an extra day for the team of two wolves.

Though we would have found out Kelly was a wolf today regardless, since the plan was to have him target Benzine (or anyone really) with the witch kill potion and that wouldn't have happened. But they would have still gotten an extra day out of it.

That leaves us with needing to find the alchemist obviously.

Benzine is a wolf of unknown role
Tubby, Raposa, and FQ are technically all candidates for RK
Kelly is claiming tubby is RK
Kelly is claiming he got a potion
I do NOT have a second potion
Raposa was jailed, so couldn't send potions if RK
FQ seems to have no idea how her supposed beast hunter role works
It took me three nights to do something useful with my own role so maybe I shouldn't be throwing shade on FQ

It makes no sense that Kelly would get a potion and I wouldn't. I don't believe that at all. RK needs to be going after townies right now, why would they let me live and go after a wolf? I think Kelly took a risk and assumed Vash jailed someone who was potentially the RK, or just hoped there'd only be one potion again today. It's not even really a risk, what will happen if he's found out to be a liar? We'll know he's a wolf and lynch him?
