I dislike RNG level design (or RNG anything for that matter). It was an annoyance in Diablo 3. Feels like laziness. Don't want to put effort into making well crafted levels? Make everything randomized, baby!

Well, the whole premises of the game is technically rooted in its real world counterpart. Which also involved RNG.

But it's not everyone's oyster. I get that.

Aight. I'll keep this one short and simple. The game be Luck be a Landlord. Essentially, you're a renter and are strapped for cash. To pay for that, you play the slots or get evicted. Scummy landlord also keeps upping rent after each payment, so you gotta pay more. The rest is your usual roguelite stuff. Unlock perks, new slot icons, difficulties, and so on. Runs can be very short and sweet or long when you get game breaking runs.

I got no good games in mind for the next one. Thus I shall yield the floor to Vash.

I played it for a brief moment as a kid before I could read English properly. Had forgotten all about it. Now just like a couple weeks ago I picked it up on GoG and have been meaning to install and play through it.

I swear I thought somebody had posted the answer, but I must have dreamed it.

I'll give a hint; This series of games forked into two related but separate series. This is from the lesser known of the two.

I was going to be pedantic and make you tell me which number, but you're close enough honestly. It's Blood Omen 2.

Where you get to vacuum blood out of victims.
