Yeah but they can pick out townies until they have the largest voting block then lynch him themselves. If they hit tubby with a night kill, the couple is gone and then Dean is outvoted. He cannot win

They need to lynch him before there are two townies left, otherwise wolves win. They already outnumber the town in votes after this night kill. Makes sense to take Tubby out via the last lynch.

So kill Kat/Vash tonight. Lynch Dean tomorrow. TD kills Kat/Vash. Lynch Tubby.

If I was a coupled wolf to another wolf I'd tell the entire group immediately. It's practically impossible to win as a wolf couple because the wolves winning condition will nearly always trigger first.
