Yeah they tried to kill fools first. But he was already dead.

Vash was their secondary. But… they can’t kill him.

And yup dimmerwit is the brain hacker. Had local targeted. Which means fools didn’t get his resources so neither did the bounty hunter.

There’s a lot more obfuscation in this game than people realize. Everyone writes off roles like the netrunner but they have use.

It’s ok, the city is doing a hell of a job killing itself. It’s gonna get a lot worse for them if the solo pulls his trigger.

Who knew giving out more killing roles meant the city would kill itself!?

Other than a lucky blind shot night 1 by the bounty hunter there’s been not a sniff of the corpo team lol

What is Zell?

I reaaaaaalllllly wanted to shoot him for the badge, but I didn't want to feel like I was singling him out for a stupid badge without a good reason...
He’s the netrunner.

He’d be able to identify dimmerwit but since he had local targeted and local is town, the info should come out anyway

Who could have possibly foreseen that? It's so surprising. :tease

I don't see any reason dimmerwit's role could be hidden if he was killed by a citizen other than being the brain hacker. What're the other possibilities?
He is. I actually gave it away in the story before remembering he’s obfuscated. But i figured no one reads that shit so I’m fine lol.

I even said he was teying to get someone but couldn’t reach them because local was jailed last night for protection lol

I meta game the shit outta my stories and no one pays attention! Lol

Fuck ‘em up by throwing in important details in random short posts amongst the shitposting where you don’t quote or tag any one particular person. If they see it, they see it. If they don’t, fuck ‘em.

I know he is, but if the role is hidden, there should be some other possible role for him to be, right? Otherwise what's the point in hiding the info?

This is why I encourage you with this game. Fucking ruthless. It’s beautiful.
I mean, I mixed a Matrix reference with a Viagra joke. And it's cyberpunk, so like... 100 years in the future and I'm walking around listening to the Beatles and making fun of JD Vance.

And in between that, I'm outing roles accidentally and no one knows.

And because the roles are all relatively new to people, no one knows what I'm actually doing. It's glorious because hiding my fuck ups is easier.

As for the role obfuscation, there's a lot more of it in my game, @Kat. It benefits the Corpo and Lone Wolf more, but I see your point. I think I'll need to rework that role. It'd be beneficial to hide it from the evils, but only when they have powerful roles they are avoiding. That role feels sort of useless.

Yay I'm here!

It actually took me until day 2 to realize half of this game was the last wolf game for me and I couldn't stop laughing to myself! It's amazing!

Yeah, I wanted to see how it played out, but that's likely one of the next roles to be changed. Want to figure out how to make it viable. I may try the Marksman route of hitting city kills the Bounty Hunter. Seems the best.
I was thinking the BH can't get creds back themselves. Only from other folks. That way there's potential for city mass murder, but the city also needs to facilitate their own demise.

Also, now that it happened, Neon lad seems like a very very overpowered role. Free verification for the town day 1, basically complete shadow/blackout nullification, and overall shutting down any later game situation where corpo is close to winning a lynch, but now cannot. I would probably say the announcement should not exist, but everything else is kosher until it's test driven more.

Or I'm being overly dramatic as there are two of them. And neither chose to use their creds day 1 to let everyone know they cityfolk.

Well damn. That was a uhhh... fast night lol.

Time to see what Vash does. I'm also very amused that kut went after Zell. Hopefully only for the badge. :D

Definitely appreciate all feedback. I'm going to compile some opinions after the game for this very reason. You guys will see things in a different like than I do. I am definitely going to have to rework some more powers to bring them in like, but like I said earlier in this thread, without playing the game, I can't identify some issues.

Corpo can't kill Vash, but Alu being dead means there's no lockup. Him locking up the last two corpo last night stopped their kill. So now it's 2-2-1 and the corpo can't control the vote. They also don't have any useful skills left. Both city left are Neon Dealers, so they can manipulate the votes. They just can't lynch Vash or the city loses.

I don't mind bounty hunter being as powerful as it is. It's not like it gave the city a huge advantage, because it's easy for that power to backfire.

Neon dealer is unbalanced IMO though. They essentially get 3 votes and can use that ability twice, and on the same person on back-to-back days.

The role dictionary would be easier to use if it were alphabetized.

Lol I was really hoping kut was going to kill vash last night but not announce it in advance. I erased so many posts yesterday because I either didn't want my biggest my suspect for the lone wolf to kill people off before the end of the day or because I wanted the corpos to dig a bit deeper of a hole in their stories (changed out earlier posts to not mention bounty hunter as a requirement for Kelly until after kut straight up claimed it)

So how is this gonna play out? Ben and local control the vote, even with only one of them using their power. My post probably should have made it obvious who the corpos are.

Local grabs one vote, they vote out a corpo. The remaining corpo kills one of the two of them off, and then the next day Vash kills off the other corpo, no lynch happens because the neon dealer can't make you vote for yourself, so Vash wins.

Other option is the corpo doesn't kill so Vash can't just blow him up the next day to win. Then the city needs to decide who wins, and it's not the city.

Yeah, this game kind of ended up driving us in a hole. It probably would've been better for us if I said I watch VR stuff with Fool's or dimmerwit. But oh well. It wasn't a bad spot for us.

They'll probably have to lynch Kelly as he's the most obvious corpo between everyone. From there, it's a choice for Vash and cg to see if they want to murder anyone tonight. Vash can just plant bombs in case there's a potential lamb chop and folks get passive. Then he can choose to not kill or blow everyone up and win.

Ultimately, cg might kill one of Ben or Local. Tomorrow it'll be down to one of them to decide who is lynched and who wins between cg or Vash.

It's actually more in cg's interest not to kill as to not dwindle the targets for Vash's bombs. Since if cg kills one between Local or Ben and Vash bombs the other, Vash wins already.

It's definitely in his (or Kelly if he's alive instead) interest to not kill. If he kills and Vash places a bomb on him, then game over Vash wins. It'll be 1-1-1 at the start of the day, Vash blows up the remaining wolf, Vash wins because he can't get lynched during that day phase since you can't change a vote to have someone vote for themselves.

...Although...

@Jon can the neon dealer change someone's vote so they vote for no one instead? If so, the serving neon dealer could do that and win if it gets down to a 1-1 with Vash.

He did say yesterday as a clarification that a if they took my vote and put it on myself, the overarching rule of "can't vote yourself" overrides the vote. So technically that works.

What I asked in corpo chat before I was ejected and got an answer, was 1) whether Neon'd vote during a blackout are double and 2) is Neon's own vote also stuck on whomever or can they still use and change their own personal vote as they see fit.

Seeing Vash and Ben talk about Cyberpunk 2077 makes me want to jump back in and do another run through

Played it not long after launch and loved it. I have heard good things about the DLC, just waiting for a sale since I bought it on console, my PC at the time wouldnt run it. Like part of me feels like pirating it, but still want the DLC and easy mod support so I'll probably do it legit

Yeah, they can vote for no one.
Cool. That's a fun roll to have.

Maybe make it so it doesn't get announced, or the person who has their vote changed isn't announced to nuke it a bit? But otherwise that's fun. A potential counter to the media personality and a way to finish out the game if you play it right.

So the town loss is my fault. I misinterpreted Alu’s post and picked wrong. I thought Zell and Vash were both guilty with either cg or Kelly rounding out the third. I picked the one person I shouldn’t have… but at least I should earn an “I killed Zell badge” so it’s not a total loss
