This is true, but it goes back to something he was saying day 1. He said he downgraded off violinist and was therefore a farmer that day. However, he would still be violinist during day 1 and be converted that night.

So either he requested the change and is confused about the timing (which feels doubtful because Zell was very clear with me when I would change roles), or he's lying and also apparently confused with the timing. My thinking then says he has a role which is doesn't have access to changing jobs, and thus timings never came up between Zell and him.

Shouldn’t you be a role if you changed night 1? You should’ve moved to a power role now.

I’m a farmer because I only changed last night. I couldn’t use my power (reliably) on night 1 so I had to wait until I was confident in a person.

So they're suggesting Jon was told to protect Vash. But how? If Vash was converted the first night, then Jon wouldn't be cult in time to be told to protect him. If Vash wasn't cult the first night, then he couldn't be turned if he's protected. So what sense does it make?

Maybe Jon was told to claim he protected after the fact to cover up the conversion? Still seems weird, but it makes more sense than anything else I can come up with.

Zell told me he would confirm in PM when they change. So if Ben isn't lying (which i dont see how at this point) he would have received a message overnight that he is now a farmer
