That first day was wild. Honestly felt it was the best (well, most aggressive) play I've made in any of these games. Told the wolves I was going to claim Fool, then came out of the gate with that Super Obvious Fool play but with that hint of plausible deniability. Shame on all of you that thought I would really be that obvious about it.
Got 2 townie deaths out of it and I honestly feel I could have gotten at least one more had things played out more like I had expected.
Local went off book and popped the Shadow, which was not an agreed-upon strategy. But that's fine, we had agreed during the night to lynch #10 if he did use the Shadow. That would have been my second time being on a wolf team that lynched a Fool on Day 1 because of that strategy, assuming Christina is the Fool as it appears. Local went off page again and voted for Ben, I believe because he felt canadaguy's watering made him unlynchable. So even though he threw a wrench in my overall play, he ensured it wasn't a fatal error.
And so the town lynched Alu instead. If he comes up as the Trickster as intended, then I still have the ability to continue the Seer farce. But since he didn't, it outed me as lying about the Seer read, so all I had left to hide behind was the Fool play.
This made me concerned that Local was Cupid Matched with Christina, since he refused to lynch her. So I suggested we eat her. Local jumped on board quick so I backed off of that play as I trusted him again. Should have pushed to eat her anyway instead of going with the team play of trying to eat Ben, even though he was an obvious protection choice. That's my biggest error...but I also didn't know about the new role that could protect half the damn town. Another big error on my part.
Got converted to the cult on Night 2...if I could have lived longer behind the Seer lie (not a given, I know), I may have been able to switch to Wolf Avenger as I was directed by the Leader and take out another player when I did die.
