you’re fucken dead

For what it's worth, I typically allow people to schedule when to take "covert" actions. The reason is twofold, but the first is the most important:

1) It completely eliminates using online status as a deduction tool. An eagle-eyed player could say "Hey, Kat hasn't been online since the start of the day and the Illusionist just killed, so the Illusionist can't be Kat." Being able to schedule actions renders this line of deduction faulty.
2) People are busy.

I do think the Illusionist should however be forced to kill with some "buffer" before the poll closes. Kind of like the alchemist and shadow wolves have a buffer. I'll edit the role afterwards.

Given the most recent posts I think it might be better if I don't read/skim these 13 pages.
Nah, it's been pretty boring. There's not been any salt (or perceived salt) before this misunderstanding.

We were all just wanting @A Punched Face to hurry up and explode

EDIT: And wondering who the second trickster wolf is.

Also I don't get why Kat waffled either, with her being what she is and knowing that Jawneh couldn't have been lying:
For Vash to be able to be headhunter targeting Quagmire, both Kat and Jawneh need to be lying about who they are. For him to be fool, one of the two of them needs to be lying. For him to be either a wolf or the SK, both Kat and Jawneh can be telling the truth.

Knowing that Jawneh wasn't lying should have made her feel safe to continue with that lynch. Oh well. I wish she didn't catch me changing my vote to Vash to follow her though. That would have been the best way to end this game.

But I guess I was right at the beginning of the day phase about both Kat and Vash being bad dongs, and then a bit later saying that the only hope for the town would be is Local was the SV. Not right about everything

I agree with this 100%. I did think to try to line up abilities occurring with when/if people were online for the first couple games. Don't think I guesses correctly on those actions because of timed thing. Except for one of Tubby's games were I correctly guessed that Alu was the Great White Shark because of the timing of the action and his sudden appearance in the thread.

That said, I will likely not do this unless I cannot be online for whatever reason, and I do not intend to turn off online status... yet.

Also, @A Punched Face sorry for pointing my blame finger at you for my death this game. The way we talked about the Medium's interaction with Trickster wolves suggested to me that you had instantly determined that I was the Medium and had the your wolf buddies murderize me. Now, I assume it was the Blind Wolf that blew my cover.

Unfortunately, it was definitely you talking in the thread that made us sus. She never checked you.

Honestly, role claiming helps the town more than it hurts it. Yours just especially stood out at a time there weren't many claims out there.
I reallllllly don't like claiming a role unless it's ABSOLUTELY necessary. It's been a constant in how I play my game to the point of frustration for other townies on past games.

Kat's mentioned it previously.

I've started to claim in every game currently. Well.... a lot of it was lying as a wolf or evil, but still. This game it helped the town tons for the first couple days.

I probably will continue doing it too after this game whenever I'm town. I will not always be too direct though. Or I will. Who knows. The ways of Jawneh elude even himself.

my best form of lying is just not saying anything. The moment you say something that is a lie, you have to keep trying to cover it up with more lies and I cannot do that.

The other form is being blatant about my lies. That's more fun.

There should at least be a grace period after a kill.
I think this is fair, but only if players are set to time abilities.

I think that if you are there and watching the clock, you should br allowed to suddenly dump an action last second. It is a pretty solid tactic used in Among Us games. Like imagine the round almost ending and a Priest coming in almost last second and spraying someone down with water. Be hilarious.

Both work. Do what you can and especially what is fun lol.

Also, lying as town is super helpful too. Not just due to what I did this game. There's many things folks can do as town too that I'm already planning on doing when I get the chance lol.

I'm going to start claiming to be a wolf even when not. I figure eventually that'll lead to a game when I am a wolf and no one will believe me.
My favourite way to play as a wolf is by legitimately just broadcasting what the wolves are doing, people take it as theorizing rather than telling them. Technically don't even need to lie.

Yeeeeee. I don't think I did that as a wolf or maybe I did? I know the more recent game I just said I'm the wolf, whereas an older game I was being more coy about it, but I don't remember if I was actually a wolf lol. That was fun too regardless.

"If I was a wolf, I would've doubled down zerker TD as so and so was hinting jailer. Ez money."

If the illusionist tagged a wolf, there could be 24h wait to see if the fool lynched the illusionist, or last minute switches off to get lynched instead of a tie.

It's a weird world lol. Technically if the fool lynched the illusionist no one wins.
