For what it's worth, I typically allow people to schedule when to take "covert" actions. The reason is twofold, but the first is the most important:
1) It completely eliminates using online status as a deduction tool. An eagle-eyed player could say "Hey, Kat hasn't been online since the start of the day and the Illusionist just killed, so the Illusionist can't be Kat." Being able to schedule actions renders this line of deduction faulty.
2) People are busy.
I do think the Illusionist should however be forced to kill with some "buffer" before the poll closes. Kind of like the alchemist and shadow wolves have a buffer. I'll edit the role afterwards.
