Fireball doesn't taste like whiskey.I tried a hard cider once and was sad because it did not taste like apple much less apple cider that I was used to. So now I just spike apple cider with like rum or Brandy. Much better. I hear it's good with fireball whiskey. My hate of whiskey though keeps me from trying that.
Oh yeah. Another thing I don't like.Fireball doesn't taste like whiskey.
It tastes like that Red Hots candy
dyslexia strikes again!
or it's all bad hard cider. Then you're just having bad hard cider.
Whiskey is amazing but fireball is a disgrace
Nope. There's good hard cider. Most of it is trash, and I assume basically all of it in your area falls into the trash category. You basically can't find any that are available nationally that are any good.dyslexia strikes again!

I like fireball...Whiskey is amazing but fireball is a disgrace
Mix two terrible things together to get a popular dive bar drink that's also terrible:I like fireball...
Fireball + Rum Chata tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Only it makes you drunk.
I go every year! Love it a ton. Get some free cider and then top of a growler with one of their hard ones. They also almost always have Heady Topper and Focal Banger available.I’ve been there!
Either separately? sure. Together, no.Mix two terrible things together to get a popular dive bar drink that's also terrible:
Fireball + Angry Orchard = Angry Balls
That's about how they all are. My preferred in Vermont (that's easy to get) is still citizen's.These are the ones I’ve had. Solid ciders. I’ve had better, but also had significantly worse ones

Strongbow is in the "not bad but there's definitely better" category. But considering where you live that makes sense.I had Strongbow on tap on my cruise 5 years ago. No hard cider has been the same since.
Keep in mind I am FAR from an alcohol connoisseur. I do not like beer at all. Only some hard ciders I like. Hard liquor is fine.Strongbow is in the "not bad but there's definitely better" category. But considering where you live that makes sense.
The following players have yet to skip:wolfbot unskipped
Sounds like Florida is about a decade or so behind the times for ciders. Woodchuck was all the rage not too long ago, kind of helped to set the stage and let craft ciders grow.Strongbow is pretty decent IMO.
My preference is Woodchuck, but specifically Woodchuck Barrel Select, which they age in bourbon barrels. Tastes like cider, bourbon, and a hint of vanilla. Sooooo good.

So Zell doesn't feel lonely
To be fair, I haven't had a cider in like 4-5 yearsSounds like Florida is about a decade or so behind the times for ciders. Woodchuck was all the rage not too long ago, kind of helped to set the stage and let craft ciders grow.

Citizens is top notch. Woodchuck is not far behindThat's about how they all are. My preferred in Vermont (that's easy to get) is still citizen's.
Woodchuck is probably one of the better ones you can find far distances from where it's made, as well. We have a really good selection in the northeast, as we got some good apple varieties and people who got tired of the microbrew beer scene. Ohio has a bunch as well, and then for West Coast you gotta go PNW. But west coast varieties aren't as good for ciders (cider apples aren't good for eating). Seattle has some good ones, and there are one or two decent brands I've tried in SoCal.To be fair, I haven't had a cider in like 4-5 years
Downeast is a different kind. Closer to actual cider (in that it's also unfiltered). But it's also hard to drink multiple ones of them without them becoming sickly sweet. Most of the ones outside of their Core 4 are also too sweet in general (I wasn't a huge fan when I visited their tap room). But they're good for people who want a legit "this tastes like what I think apple cider tastes like" feel.Citizens is top notch. Woodchuck is not far behind
More local to you, Downeast is better than both
Their raspberry cider is nice and crisp and not too sweetDowneast is a different kind. Closer to actual cider (in that it's also unfiltered). Yes this is the right answer. I don't know how they did it so different from everyone else, but their pumpkin is possibly their best. Also downeasts pumpkin cider
I drink pumpkin coffee and pumpkin chai so...I guess I like drinking pumpkin.I don't like drinking pumpkin
Feels unnatural

Tulsi...that one is so good. It's so strange to love a basil cider so much.
