Wouldn't have needed to come to his aid though. Had there been a tie on the day you were lynched instead, by virtue of the shadow once again, Benzine needs to jail.

Jail the SK, wolves kill a townie and then force the town to pick who wins

Not jailed, SK kills everyone but one wolf and hopes that one wolf isn't jailed. If a wolf isn't jailed, at worst it's 2 town, 1 wolf, and 1 SK.

Vote gets tied again unless the town chooses who wins early.

Personal good vs. evil. Nothing more. When I was out, i had no vested interest in the game at all.

I do think Cupid should win with the town and NOT be killed with the couple, though. A 3 for 1 like we saw is abysmal in every way, and no one could see the point. There was a discussion in here early on about why it was added and why it should be changed back.

Fair point. It was a lot of players to take out with just 1 kill action.

Are we assuming cupid has supernatural power to link the two people? Then their dying makes sense but maybe give them some extra power like to talk to the pair/individuals to balance it.

Or if they're just a matchmaker, they shouldn't die on pair death and just become a regular villager.

That was sort of the suggestion I had. on top of removing the cupid dies too thing. My suggestion was even like a sorcerer thing. Can see the chat, but can't participate. Which makes sense thematically. Like Cupid is going to watch his couple interact without involving himself. Then like you said, if the couple dies, cupid should be a regular villager. They will almost always work with the town anyway, but what motivation do they have if they can't win at all?

That's a fun game I play with my real name IRL all the time! If you thought "Jawneh" might be a bit confusing, how about "Joni" before and after knowing I'm Finnish.

I think originally it was more "Yawn-eh", but I grew more attached to "John-eh". In the case of this or my real name, I do not care how people pronounce it as long as I know you're referring to me. :D

I think Kelly went over this already. It became obvious during the second shadow that Vash had to be the preacher with a +1 vote. Otherwise it wouldn't have been a tie lynch. At that point we knew who was who, except whether or not Local was an arsonist or serial killer. I personally disregarded illusionist as it was fairly unlikely to not have any of the 3 possible disguises not be killed that late in the game. Even day 2 it felt kind of unlikely already with so many dead people.

Holy crap there's a lot of thoughts I will try to blurt out. Here goes!

Firstly probably related to me and wolf stuff. Then whatever else comes out.


I believe we had kind of a rough start figuring out a good outline. At some point I was lamenting about not shadowing already day 1 as we had 3 of them to use. Maybe it was better this way. I believe it was Kelly who liked and pushed to hold off day 1 shadow and we agreed to that. Kelly was also the one who picked up strong townies from Quagmire and Benzine both. We went with that with the night 2 kill and it worked great for us!

The failed first shadow... I can't blame Ben at all for it as both Kelly and I were theorizing and throwing ideas left and right lol. We did have a few lists there, including Ben's own list too, so yeah. And then the second shadow ended up in a tie which thoroughly amused me and kind of secretly hoped we'd mess up the last shadow too. I could've made it turn into a tie on day 4, but I was in it to win it.

Which does brings us neatly to the choice to withhold my shadow. I did double-check from Zell what time the cutoff for shadow was as I was available to use it if I wanted to. Kelly and I did theorycraft the 3T-2W-1S scenario where we could emerge victorious if Ben was killed in jail that night. So we made the plan to have Kelly and I try to get Local done it, but if not, make sure that I live. It ended up working in the end.

Back in time a bit. Dimmerwit was there as the willing sacrifice lol. When we chose to sell him out and picked Local as the other candidate, we were still believing him being a bodyguard. Lynching him would be the best way for us to get rid of him and not worry about protections. We, or at least I, were leaning Vash being the solo still at the time. I really wished the solo pacifist to be true.


Day 4 trying to convince the folks to vote Kelly was interesting on my part at least. I was trying to will enough reason to vote Kelly as a basically guaranteed wolf while also trying to sow enough confusion about me potentially being a the solo and local an alpha. There were many messages I had to edit out as I was almost accidentally putting in too much emphasis on other wolf roles, or words like "overshadow", or even bring up the previous shadows just in case anyone started thinking there's another shadow, or just bring up the fact a guardian wolf also would still work the same. Although with the latter using it to save dimmer would've been the play to do no matter what as it would either a) have us with 8 votes still for shadow #2 or b) bait a night action from the town.

But in the end I was 110% more invested in having fun and being the ritualist than wanting to win lol. Being a goof ball and writing nonsense is very entertaining to me.

Also the deal with Benzine about not lying or I'd not play in the next couple wolf games, I was dead serious about that. Even if I was never going to be lying or faking anything anyhow.

What else uhh.... Idk. Maybe nothing more. Maybe I forgot things while typing my brain vomit.

Without actively using a gunner bullet or wolf kill or something "just cause."
