I mean if it's supposed to be revealed that the SK did it then maybe spell it out to them by creating a story where Vash is temporarily revived and tells them to quit being stupid and realize that SK did it and have it posted to the bulletin board as "SK did it dummies"
I literally JUST GOT DONE writing a very, very similar story to that. I think I'll add in your bit because I haven't hit submit yet. lol

I have an idea that maybe I could make questing and items tie in to the other side of the game a little more, like maybe a successful quest to a specific area might mean the met an oracle that did a sort of seer check on another player for them, or have items that are used on other players and have different effects depending on roles or something.

Yeah that could be fun to work in. Anyone can become a seer if they manage to stay a specific beast.

You find some mushrooms in the dark forest, but don't know what kind they are. Roll a die to find out if they're poisonous and kill you, or you get high and have a mystic vision.

Tommy apparently
The questing really does bring a different way of susing people out. You see who doesn't quest and so forth and it gives you stuff to talk about. In a normal wolf game, we are all just hoping a seer saw something. In this game, things feel slower, but I'm not sure they really are. The information is just different I guess. And people seemed to be keeping their plays close to the chest while making small talk about quests.

I will say, I think it was only shortkut that said anything about there being healing potions that were now gone. Bought overnight by us acolytes. Keeping track of people's spending, items, and injuries all can be clues especially if the acolytes are not being careful.

So now the town needs to successfully get them 3 days in a row in order to win huh?
Local has a role that could kill, but right now the baddies have no injuries, aren't questing, and have one healing salve saved up so it's not looking good for that either. He'd need to use all three of his remaining arrows over three days. The game won't last that long.

So I would have guessed Tommy and Kat but I didn’t care because I wanted to keep questing til I died… which I did

So I rolled a 1 for each of my questing attacks

What's even funnier is the acolytes were briefly considering killing him last night, and he's already a role that they can't kill at night so with your protection, their attack would have failed doubly if they had gone through with picking him over canadaguy.

Also, the fact that John as the vampire Hunter checked him last night too, and so you are both vouching for him. And smacktard was asking if he could give his love potion to shortkut when he was in danger of being lynched. Everybody thinks the guy is innocent 🤣
Because I just wanted to quest. I didn’t want to hurt the town or the acolytes. I wanted Ben’s talisman so I could live to quest longer

The town thread is boring when I’m muted

Yeah, that might work.

Also, shortkut, if/when you see this, I will no longer worry about feeling like I'm bullying you.

I just wanted to keep questing
if shortkut wins, I want an alley-oop badge.
no, you’re a bully… or no because I’m not winning
I had an actual feeling kut when he started trying to convince everyone to quest. But my dumbass allowed myself to be suckered into actually thinking that maybe he really just wanted everyone to get the most out of Ants' game, and I thought killing him on the second night would be mean.
Angry Star Trek GIF
this is actually the truth. I didn’t care about winning, just questing. I didn’t even check my win condition until I was silenced. Ask @Ants! when I asked him about it

I mean it is highly sus, if anyone is paying attention.

Big "if" in this game though.
I didn’t notice. I think only local noticed

Wait...I forgot...

dimmerwit can fuck the lynch up even if they correctly guess one of the acolytes.

And Local has a Talisman so if they lynch him that fails, but even so, their night kill would still bring the numbers down enough for their win condition.

So this game is basically over and just going through the motions at this point. The baddies won.

The real answer is shortkut broke your other leg and is looting your corpse as you die from the trauma.
You told me I wasn’t allowed to plunder his body. wtf!
Ugh another Team Vash :(
what team am I on?
welcome, nerds. Jon and I have unwittingly cleared the solo killer. If he doesn't kill himself endlessly questing, he will win.
Steve Urkel Oops GIF

So he won't win that's good
When you’re right, you’re right
Me: Surely, someone with a good role wouldn't risk throwing it away to quest.

kut: [Claims Druid]

Jon: Not Acolyte.

Me: That's all I need to know, a solo would definitely not play like this. kut can't be anything but a townie.
Snl Oops GIF by Saturday Night Live

People have bought his "I'M QUESTING UNTIL I DIE FROM IT" schtick. Funny thing is, he had a decent opportunity to make good on that when he rolled a level 4 enemy, but chose to run away instead (and used his luck potions so he was guaranteed no injury). Dude's a pro.
It wasn’t a shtick, it was my plan the whole time

So now you’re using part of my idea? Jerk

My thoughts for next version from our PMs

1. Each role gets a weapon or item
- ranged or melee weapon
- boots for stealth

The type of item makes a difference when questing.
- Boots or something give a +1 boost to fleeing roll
- Ranged weapons give +1 to fighting flying monster like Kat's wyvern
- melee weapon is better against other stuff

2. There should be some benefit to choose flee vs fight. Right now, it might as well be one roll, for fight, and flee works for everything except a 1

3. People who go on quests do not find out what happened until the night phase and the rest of the town find out the next morning.

They are also exempt from voting and cannot be targeted during the day.

Thought being, they left town for the quest, so they aren't there because the quest takes all day

4. Regarding luck for questing: Maybe stackable for running but not stackable for fighting? Gives running more of a benefit?

I'm thinking a simple way to place a limit on people overdoing the questing would be to say that you can't go on a quest two days in a row. It would make sense because you would need a day of rest between quests, and people will probably still do it a lot on the first day since they rarely ever Lynch on day one anyway, so by day two they would probably calm down a bit and focus more on the regular wolf side of things.
Not a bad idea
