It's kind of hard to tell if it's truly balanced because there were so many variables.

The biggest ones:

- Nobody was caught and convicted based off tells
- The bomber killed two mafia members
- The town made lots of mistakes

I do think this game is still heavily in favour for the mafia in terms of game structure, the town has no business winning this but the bomber made it possible.

I would note, nobody was directly killed by the tells, but they lead to a lot of chaos and mistrust.

I can't believe the librarian lasted this long too.

The librarian isn't objectively a threat to the mafia, so it makes sense they're still alive in my opinion. The mafia very smartly went after roles that could figure stuff out or impact the trial.

It did lead to chaos and mistrust - but part of it was nobody knew what to look for and it runs very similar to a no seer game. It's entertaining for sure, though. No protection role hurt once again, though.

Considering how many innocent the townies murdered, I actually think the bomber is more chaotic good haha

This probably depends on who the bomber is and how good they are at analyzing/reading people.

I have extended the day phase the last two days because of the Bailiff switching jurors.

Should I extend the day phase in the case of a Juror mysteriously dying?

I would say that if at the time of the death the votes are in and a new jurists vote could not change the outcome, no.

I don't know if extending the phases is even necessary if there is no restriction on who can ask questions. If all can ask but only a few cast verdict, why extend at all? The times that were extended felt only like a "test the librarian" to me

In my death post Vash said something like I have 67 possibilities, found something, and narrowed it down to 7. I told Vash I had a list of 67 tells, I picked one successfully, and told him I found 7 people that met the criteria.

There's still a scenario where anyone, citizens, mafia, and bomber could win.

The Forman role could have a big impact depending on circumstances. You got unlucky with circumstances. You played it prefect though, by using it as a future hint on a role claim for trail. Just people had no trust. Vash kept pointing out that everybody else's role claims were believed without question except for yours for some reason.

I have no want of trying to draw out the flow charts for this game. There is still a win scenario for all sides and Vash just added in there a tie votes end up with 2 people jailed. So depending on who votes for whom. It's bananas.

Convict Kelly
No arrest
Zell kills bomber
2v1 citizens vs Zell next day

Mafia win:
Citizen boom today
No trial or bomber on trial
Zell kills bomber or bomber found guilty
1v1 citizen vs Zell

Bomber win:
Don't get arrested
Don't get killed by mafia

Yeah honestly the whole quote thing is very broken for reasons like this.

That is the only thing I do not like. If someone has Tourette’s, they don’t stop because the person standing next to them does something. Also, there is no counter for the town to this. If an ambiguous clue was revealed during the trial, then the town would gain a benefit. It’s like every mafia member can get a secondhand high, but no one is smoking.

To give some insight into the idea of how we made the tells. We were trying to make tells that even when you get a clue would not be super obvious who the mafia person is. Things that people can do by accident not knowing it was a tell. For example with this, TD got the clue and narrowed down to 7 people. That being said people still can't stop posting animals.
