Maybe I shouldn't say it because it's honestly a big reason my cold reads have been so good but..

One of the biggest mistakes that most baddies make in almost every single game is that they never come across like they're trying to help catch bad guys until it's way too late.

I agree with your comment in general, just not this specific case. The city won just fine without tells last time, didn't they? Having tells exist at all should help the city. They're not struggling because the rules favor the mob, it's because they're playing poorly.

I assume the bomber is told the kill isn't successful. That's what happened in wolf games, at least. There's also a potential protector role out there which could result in a failed kill (though nobody has hinted at it and it seems most people have hinted at something).

Maybe he's just not sure it's Tubby? Or they decided they'd rather keep the bomber around longer? If they know who it is, presumably they can kill just that person themselves. It doesn't say they can't anywhere that I saw.

It's super weird nobody on the jury has voted yet.

Maybe they did plan to share a fake tell then decided to share the same clue that was already given instead. It's weird that he initially said it was two posts then corrected himself to twice in one day, possibly in the same post. Mafia would know how it worked, right? Intentional misleading or maybe they were all confused about it?

Did he really post that drinking gif on accident?

You raise all legitimate and possible points. I can't say it's not possible but it just doesn't feel right to me.

There's like 8 hours left in the phase and not enough votes for an arrest and no jury votes.

What is happening?

I wonder aboutthe last few townie roles. There's quite a few that could affect jury/trial too.

Local is already impossible for me to read. This tell thing is messing with my head. I completely believed him to be innocent before I saw those latest asterisks.

The citizens need to get their shit together. If they don't arrest somebody today, that puts them in a terrible position. The Mafia has done a good job of taking out everyone who might get the town organized.

One of the ones we decided not to go with was to have to post with the first letter of each post be sequential alphabetically. Like your first post starts with A, your second B, etc.

I much more like the idea of having to use the entire Alphabet each day but LORD that would be an annoying one to go back and check for.

I still like this one but it is one that once somebody gets the clue for it, that person is toast. It makes the mafia person a more cautious poster having to rely on other mafia members to help them out more maybe.

What if you reversed the tell requirement onto the town? The townies would all have their own GM given tells, but the mob doesn't. They'd have to cobble together something and hope they don't overlap.

Idk if that would work, but it sounds like fun.
