What do you interpret this to mean? Doesn't it sound to you like MS is strong-arming smaller publishers into ceasing physical distribution for XS consoles? That sounds too crazy to believe though
Could be a knock-on effect from Microsoft laying off basically its entire physical operations. If Maximum Games was working with or going through them to ease the process of having discs pressed, but that division no longer exists, it would effectively force their hand unless they scrambled and found another avenue quickly. I don't really have any insight into how Microsoft's backend process works though, so purely a guess.

If someone a bit larger, like Red Art Games or especially Limited Run Games, start doing mass cancellations then there's something hugely wrong going on.

And heads will roll if Penny Blood and/or Armed Fantasia get cancelled since I've already paid for those... đź‘€

All of ya'll should come to Midwest Gaming Classic in April in Milwaukee. It's a pretty big convention at this point of mostly old stubborn people who aren't going to let old gaming trends go. :crossarm
The time has come :crossarm I am here to remind my Old Stubborn Brethren who can't let old gaming trends go that Midwest Gaming Classic is happening this weekend in Milwaukee WI, and if you happen to be in the Midwest you should definitely consider going! I'll be there, and a couple indie games I've helped with will be there, though this is my weekend off, I work too much to also work at a booth, so sweet game-playing freedom for me! :party2

Hopefully it's a good time! Ain't been in the Midwest for a good ol' hunk of time at this point, but may physical live forever!

Speaking of which, just a general reminder that physical PS4 and XBO copies of Grandia HD Collection are still available through Limited Run Games until April 14th.

$55 is kinda steep, but it's fuckin' Grandia so I gotta. :giggle

As much as I'd prefer to have physical copies over digital ones, it's storage that's the big issue with me. I don't have the space for them anymore. Plus, with all the moving I've done in the past decade, it makes having huge collections like that a pain in the ass to move from one place to the next.
