my picks are a bit heavy on the import / RPG side, oh well what can I say, I pick what I like, may as well finish it off with

Dragon Quest III (the SNES version of it, obviously); almost went with V but SNES V is probably the weakest version of it while SNES III is among the best versions of that game

SNES III uses Dragon Quest VI's engine mostly so it is quite a technical and graphical improvement over the original game

if you really want to be pedantic about it though, you can just take Dragon Quest V as my pick

This is an issue that I knew would crop up sooner or later, though its generally a more recent issue.

The way I see it is, it was released for the system during the life-cycle of the system, so it should be allowed.

Now if the actual voters want to dock points because it's basically a glorified port or want to give it full credit because its the quintessential version, that's up to the individual voter.
