I really messed up by not posting yesterday, and I knew I would be out until the afternoon today which is a death wish for me. Too late for this, but worth mentioning I guess. I am the (an?) explosives expert, who was operating on the assumption that I was an avenger rather than a beast hunter. Once I got the clarity of how the role worked from the in-thread explanation (and my own questioning) I did it right.

It's kind of too late to try and argue my way out of this one, especially when I'm up against TD who has been very present and active this whole game. I feel like I've been fixed to show as mob or something, but I don't really have any way to prove anything. At the very least, I now understand my trap will still be active after death, so at least some more protection against another vampire/mob attack. Cheers fellow agents.

Based on certain things yesterday, I'm actually inclined to believe you - however, this isn't "me against you" because as you've said the Fixer could have targeted you.

I'm a little bit uneasy at how easily the bandwagon formed on you.

So:
a) Are you happy with where your explosives are?
b) ...or do you need more time?

On a related note, I've moved my vote to shortkut.

Oh for sure, I more or less meant that you already had a solid place in the agency, so it would be silly to try and accuse you of being mob when others have already cleared you. The fixer has gotta be the only thing that makes sense here.

I take the blame on this, though. I was MIA last day phase on complete accident, and passengers never really make it far. By the time I was done with my errands today and was ready to dive in, I realized how much of an uphill battle it would be to not only prove my innocence, but also come up with an alternative plan that is not killing me. I don't have a plan really, I've just been trying to really read into what people are saying and hope my bomb is not in a shitty spot lol.

Yeah I'm good with the placement. I don't think I should say where they are for safety reasons, but if that gun ever turns up, maybe give a heads up so I can let everyone know if there will be a booby trap or not lol. I'm pretty sure it works just like a beast hunter, but can trap/kill the solo killer in addition to the mob. IDK how it works on the double agent (other solo killer?), though.

I get it - life happens, especially around this time of year; but there's also about 17 hours left in this phase and that's plenty of time.

Like I said too. I'm not gunning for you and I've moved my vote to shortkut. Something you could also do. As the double agent, the agency, mob, and vampire could all benefit from removing him.

Honestly I'm done trying to sort that out for now, so removing someone who isn't helping the agency and just trying to muddy the waters further feels like the safest bet. He counts toward the mob win count and is not helping us.

We'll get a new batch of reads tomorrow, we still have time for the rest of the mob and vampire.

Plus maybe, hopefully, possibly, Kat has a gun.

I know both Jawneh and Kat are good so here's hoping he wasn't lying about his exact role.

@Tommy Boy I don't think it's so much your inactivity just as you were the target of two reads. If you're not bad then either Alu is or the Fixer got lucky. I'm still more than willing to potentially change since as TD says there's most of the day still left. I tagged you to make sure you got a response, and Kat because she really needs to shoot something.

On the flipside...

Assuming every seer-type claim is agency (they probably aren't), we've had 8 different people pop up as not mob; we were due to hit whomever the Fixer targeted eventually.

I'm inclined to believe Tommy; and I could see the Fixer targeting him as well.

If we're not certain about Tommy, I'd rather put my vote on someone who's admitted they could win with the mob.

There's nothing guaranteeing their word to us as opposed to the mob. And after skimming everything today with all the double agent bullshit, I'm now wary of motives.

Edit: this is to say I moved my vote from Tommy to shortkut.

I'd rather find the vampire, but barring that kill someone who has partially sinned.

@Local Hero I didn't see you answer this already. Would a priest read on the vampire show anything other than just that they killed? I can't tell they're evil or something?

kut thinks Quagmire. He is so adamant that Tommy is not a Vampire and we should lynch someone else, it suggests to me that Tommy is mob.

There's some logical gaps perhaps, but currently yes, a priest will tell if a vampire has killed.

Would probably make more sense if it was like a red lady for the vamp and died upon visitation

Seer reads should always be taken with a grain of salt until they land us someone from the evil team.

Alu and Smacktard have met that criteria. I wonder what they'd find if they peeked at Ben and dimmerwit.
