Honestly I just picked the least pleasant place I could find for the joke.
If I was coming back I'd probably stick with Magni and just level him up however needed, especially if any story shit ended up being planned for him. Though I did have the start of a blood hunter character in mind back when Vash was talking about running Strahd, so if we went in that direction I'd consider rolling up that character instead.

That link should let you join the "dummy campaign" I have up just to share all my content books with everyone. It gives you extra character/class options, etc. You can move a character from that campaign to whatever new one I might set up after.

Not that much. It somewhat impacts how npcs see you, like soldier backgrounds get free lodging in barracks or something like that, but they're not super game changing.

Ducktemic Attunement
At 14th level, when the barbarian is raging and hits with an attack on their turn, they can forgo their second attack and instead flap their arms and honk at the target. The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + Proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier) or be frightened of the barbarian until the end of the barbarian's next turn.
