Those were all prompted, not hand adjusted. It just did a great job by itself.Man it's been a bit since I've messed around with suno. First thing I made when I found it was a D&D song as well lol. Are you altering the lyrics at all or just posting what it spits out? I don't think I've ever heard the words "diarrheal" or "magitech" before.
Feeling particularly alone -- even in the company of Owlybeary -- Moonsprout listens attentively to the rain thudding outside, relishing its melancholy, rhythmic beating. He strokes Owlybeary almost meditatively, thinking no thoughts, but letting the mood of the storm envelope him. From the plodding rain, a consistent beat seems to arise, as the rains lash harder and then soften in a rhythmic pattern. Moonsprout removes his mother of pearl lute from his backpack almost instinctively, and begins strumming a melancholy song. The following song arrives effortlessly:
In a garden of dreams where the sun always shines
A butterfly danced with colors divine
The butterfly flutters gentle and light
Spreading joy and peace with its carefree flight
But lurking in the shadows,
eyes ablaze with fiery might,
a dragon snarls and thirsts
for the thrill of violent fight
The butterfly, to the dragon, sang its song of peace and grace
But the dragon was unfazed, and reveled in the chaos it embraced
With a song of hope, the butterfly continued to try and sway
But again the dragon roared, "Violence is my only way!"
Will soft words soothe the brutal dragon's heart
Or will violence tear their worlds apart?
The meadow whispers in bittersweet suspense
as the dragon roars, again, in complete defiance
Though the day may come where one the other depart
In this delicate balance, for now, they play their part
The butterfly and dragon, forever intertwined,
in a dance of peace and violence, combined.
I couldn't not.

Took me a bit to get one with a male vocalist sounding melancholy enough to fit the scene, but I think it worked as a maybe sung by Moonsprout song.((Legend!!))
I think I have unintentionally made an entire concept album for this campaign.
I'd had the same idea but Moonsprout's been so generally anti-preforming throughout the campaign I didn't want to like obligate you, man.Yes! Every time Moonsprout assembles a piece, we can make it into a real song. That was really good! It flowed better than I expected
I still want to make songs that're more specific for each character though, including things they've gone through. If you want to make Moonsprout write their ballad songs, I would be very down with that.
You're lucky I had a plot thing to facilitate.
Although I'll admit hitting you all immediately was never the plan, even if I taunted. Gotta give you at least some marginal chance.
Edit: but you are now at the mercy of how well I roll on his recharge check...
Uh oh... had to say that, huh?i think i've killed more creatures in this quest than sparkrender did. Ordering others to kill at the monetary doesn't count because he outsourced it
So, I got the kick in the pants to actually move you guys again because my son got himself grounded and so this weekend had to find non-screen things to do. That meant we made him and his sister D&D characters, and I threw together a super simple encounter where they fought a Minecraft Wolf.
My 12 year old son made a Dragonborn (Red) Paladin. My 5 year old daughter wanted to be Elsa, so I made her a Human Sorcerer with the Druid Magic Initiate trait. I gave her Ice Knife.
I swear, the wolf got a good bite on my son taking him to 5hp. The wolf had 4hp. My daughter told me to use Ice Knife on the wolf and I warned her that it'd cause an explosion and could damage her brother too. She just said "Do it". My son was fine with the chance and actually DEX saved to avoid all the splash damage, so it worked out.
They then went to explore these houses on the map I'd had 0 time to put anything in, so while they were in there I made the Ender Dragon land outside. My daughter chose to run and hide, my son wanted to fight it. Hit it for 10 damage, putting it at 340/350. It then used "beating wings" and hit him for like, 11 damage and knocked him back 10 feet dying...
The dragon flew away. I asked his sister if she was going to go help him. She just tells me "No."
I know she's playing an ice queen sorceress, but damn that girl is cold...
He'd failed 2 death saves and made 2 successful ones, and on his last attempt rolled a nat 20 so stabilized and regained consciousness, and I told him he's got a badass scar from the Ender Dragon attacking him now.

Short Order sheds a single tear of joy.
A girl of my own heart
I think that kinda cinched(is that the correct word?) it. It let us hit him properly!I'm really glad I decided to add Earthbind as a spell when I remembered we were fighting a strong flying creature. Figured I may as well use it so people other than me could attempt to hit it.
Jon wanted to pet a werewolf I think. The thought of this group of chucklefucks being thrust into Strahd's domain in the future is so funny to me
My thoughts for future adventures for you and Kutshort are very similar. I don't actually know if the tavern @VashTheStampede had them in was in Phandalin or outside, but I have a different adventure that starts out of there. The thought of this group of chucklefucks being thrust into Strahd's domain in the future is so funny to me
I do have a long term idea for Aims.
Nac... Kinda have an idea, but this is the one I've got to think on most.
I'm guessing you guys would rather go talk to npcs and get information organically, but I could also just tell you my ideas. Might help decide where to actually go.
... I also have a marvelous idea for Moonsprout, but the source book with the necessary races is $49.99 for D&D Beyond. Which is dumb, because HitPoint Press has it as "pay what you want" on their actual website...
Maybe if I can motivate myself to really get back on this, I'll buy it for my birthday in April.
Gonna make him trip so hard on mushrooms you all turn into woodland creatures and have to pick from species like Strig (owls), Vulpin (foxes) or Hedge (hedgehogs).

For Magni, my main idea was just that he'd have this little back and forth with his patron manipulating him into doing shit for them. I think Magni's dream is to become a dragon so he'll just do whatever if he thinks it's possible. And then maybe down the line he'd learn that his patron isn't some dragon god or something and become more of his own person. But I don't have any solid ideas of where to go with him otherwise. Kinda just making him a little Gollum freak that people would be suspicious of.
Still trying to decide what pact to give him. Was either gonna go Blade for stronger melee or Chain and give him a little pseudodragon familiar that he'd treat as like a physical extension of his patron because that might be funny. There's so many cool invocations but they all require like level 7+.

This.I want to pay $0
If there was some easy way to buy it directly from the third party publisher, but also get it unlocked in D&D Beyond, I'd even pay the publisher retail value for it. I'm just so over giving WOTC more of my money.
I guess that's where the whole "real people" and physical mediums wins out. But ugh, people.
Anyway, my other plan was to just make Moonsprout go the Feywild and try to catch Pokemon.
Still something I'd have to pick up as I don't have it yet, but there's one adventure that's all "magic carnival" vibe and there should be non-combat solutions to absolutely every encounter in it, so it seems kind of perfect for @Smacktard .

I suppose there's always other sites. I've been doing D&D prep stuff with some of my friends for a couple different games, and D&D Beyond gets dismissed pretty quickly because of the paywall. Not sure how much it benefits you for DMing, but for players the only real benefit to other sites is that it looks pretty since we have the dice roller here. Just wish roll20 had a better character builder because people always want to use that.This.

If anyone's interested, there's a really nice builder I downloaded called Aurora where you can import pretty much every existing source book and make as many characters as you want. Takes a bit to setup, but it lets you export your character sheets as editable PDFs too. The main Aurora isn't being worked on anymore, but there's a discord community that has an updated version called Aurora Legacy if you want the more recent books.
Trying to go hard on using non DNDB things didn't work last time... I subbed to World Anvil and Roll20 premium last year and barely used it.
Tracking placement and conveying that over the forum is generally the issue I've had. Mostly from a "how to hide any DM stuff" from you guys when I take screenshots. It's often annoying to run a player view of the VTT as well, myself.
It's like it would be easier if we did it real time playing together or something.

Hmm. I know Roll20 lets you hide stuff on the map pretty easily. But if for some reason you need the map to be connected to the character sheets in some way and not be just a visual thing, I suppose that would be an issue. I think the character stuff on there is the only thing that's not free. And my group just copies and pastes all the homebrew/premium info they need onto their character sheets manually so we don't have to pay for anything.
Fwiw, in short-ish sessions, I wouldn't be opposed to this. It's like it would be easier if we did it real time playing together or something.
He's a good boy.You know, it's nice that Boltzmann kept busy.
