Seems like there'll be a Direct on September 12th or close to that date.

Maybe an appearance from the mysterious Metroid Prime 4? Nintendo did go out and deny rumours they were delaying it into 2026 which they don't normally do, and it also recently get a T rating added on the store.

It's also the 40th Anniversary of Mario, so no doubt they'll do something amazing like...um...release Sunshine on NSO?

Digital Foundry did an analysis of Star Wars: Outlaws on the Switch 2.



It's interesting as one of the first titles to have major use of RT (Outlaws is one with mandatory use of RT) and the fact that it fares very well all things considered bodes well for the future where more and more stuff will require RT.

Not Switch news per se, but I missed out on a very short lived opportunity to get a refurbished Switch 2 for about £100 cheaper than retail today. No doubt an excellent deal that I regret not jumping on before it sold out, but it did confirm to me that I'm probably going to get one of these before the end of the year.

Supposedly they are just systems from a particular retailed over here that have been returned, usually simply because the person changed their mind. The systems aren't actually faulty, but can't be sold as new. At least with that particular Ebay seller. It's not a big deal either way. I agree that there is a slight risk of getting a duff system, and in reality as and when I want to get a new system I can just do that.

Virtual Boy Switch is awesome. I won't get it, but I'm glad that it's not completely forgotten, and that people will be able to experience such a unique console!

Open world Metroid Prime has me nervous, but it could be good.

More roguelite DLC makes me wretch. I wish this genre would die again (except for Hades 2).

Super Mario Galaxy collection seems so weird considering 3D All Stars had Galaxy 1.

I just realized that many of these games might only release in Game Card form and might not see an actual physical release... except for the Nintendo games.

Weren't there devs saying the game cards were too slow for some games?

If that were true then we might still see game cards for bigger titles.
