i experienced bullying, mansplaining, and gaslighting.
I can't speak to those other things, but I will say that being on the town side and getting frustrated that others can't see something that's obvious to you, is a natural feeling and we all get called out on it. And you were on the wolf team, so naturally you had a role that was forced to lie and manipulate in order to win. That is just part of the game and nothing personal towards you, look around and you'll see people having facepalm moments towards all the players, especially towards the town.to be perfectly clear so everyone fully understands where im coming from because theres a lot of assuming here. it has nothing to do with being "pressured" in game. the only pressure i felt was to not quit on my wolf team and that is the only thing that stopped me from quitting. there is a difference between pressure and behaving like a bully. to tell a new player they are being spiteful or grill them for not doing what is "obvious" when it is their first game is harsh. its my first game and nothing is obvious? i dont regret anything i said because i spoke the truth. i experienced bullying, mansplaining, and gaslighting. then you tried to act like i was in the wrong. that behaviour is why im not playing. not because of "pressure". its good that you have apparently come along way but it clearly still isnt very friendly.
The only one not lighting any gas was @canadaguy .gaslighting
He's only a jerk because he only made one PIMI comic in over a decade of begging for more comics.Yeah, Kelly is a big jerk sometimes in these games. Man is full pedal to the metal. Trying to combat his aggressiveness in the last Zell game was hard.
This is where I want to start name calling and explaining that gaslighting is an expected part of the game, just to hit the trifecta in one go.
But instead I'll say good on you for realizing this game isn't for you.
I've played wolf/mafia in person before and it's fun. Usually a room full of people and everyone closes their eyes and the host taps 1/3 of the players to let them know they're the bad guy and says only those I tapped open your eyes so you'll know each other. Night phases they quietly communicate through gestures and pointing to decide their next kill. If you're on a couch with townies though then you have to be extra careful not to let them feel movement though.I do think a lot of it is just the medium, if we were all in person I think it would come off a lot lighter some of the times
I learned an opposite thing.I learned you don't lynch anybody ever.
I learned a secret third thing
gifs that you can hear
Is that secret third thing the date you will start your next Mafia game?I learned a secret third thing
Is that secret third thing the date you will start your next Mafia game?
The people demand it.
It's the actual best. Last game was so insane and fun and hilarious.Fuck, I'll join even though I've never played
I'm not going to be able to take on a project of that scope until after my current work assignment is over. So we're lookin at November at the soonest. Is that secret third thing the date you will start your next Mafia game?
The people demand it.
We want the game where no one knows their own roleMore importantly, @Zell 17 when is the next meme game? I think the one where we all choose a role didn't end up being as funny as it could have been. I think the organizer needs to decide the chaos factor instead if leaving it to us plebs who are just going to pick Priest and Gunner every time.
I've seen that suggested, but I can't help but wonder how that's even supposed to work. This isn't like pressing an assigned key that uses an ability. All of the roles have different functions, prompts, and time in which they can be used.We want the game where no one knows their own role
I want the game where it comes off as normal, but in reality, nobody is assigned wolf/solo killer roles, and the GM randomly kills someone each night from whatever team.We want the game where no one knows their own role
Cupid, fool, and head hunter all in the same game.
Calm down, Satan.Cupid, fool, and head hunter all in the same game.
Cupid, fool, and head hunter all in the same game.
I want a game where every single player is actually a wolf, but no one knows it, and they can't communicate with other wolves in wolf chat.
Oops all ritualistsAlright I’ve got an idea for a meme game after Benzines
Oops all ritualists
Half violent solos and half ritualists and other resurrecting roles. Killers have to wipe out everyone including themselves faster than the others can revive players and have only 5 day/night phases to accomplish it.All solo rolls. Violent and non violent.
Would you settle for a toblerone?now i want a fuckin rolo
Would you settle for a toblerone?
