Zell explained prior to the last game that the dead body gets assigned a number and role first, then the wolves select their target, then everyone else gets their roles and numbers assigned so you don't have to do any swaps.

I'd like to give benefit of the doubt on the word-slip thing, though the defending dimmerwit is a bit more sus.

I was just about to say that I agreed with you. Too easy of a lynch on Quagmire. Especially for the wolves already being down one.

Out of your list, I am the one that has described my roll more. I guess I could say it but honestly I don't want to hear the people that say they did so well with the roll.

I thought that Zell explained it's done before the non-wolf roles are assigned to actual players. So if the wolves picked 10, the numbers are distributed, number 10 is auto-assigned to dead body, and then the rest of the village gets assigned their role based on the roll.

I honestly don't get the point of doing all that. Seems like much lest work to say no kills on Night 1 and open the game with an NPC dead body.
