That's a YouTuber thing. Pretty sure "Kill" or "Dead" often gets them demonetized, so they always say "Unalived".

lol yes that was also pointed out a few times in the movie...

To me it definitely felt like a campy movie that they leaned into, and a movie that they knew has a huge following that will make money no matter what.

Jack Black was just Jack Black in this movie. But I like Jack Black, so.

I really thought either Alex, the Ender Dragon, or the Wither was going to show up somewhere. But that didn't happen.

The entire theater clapped at many of the parts.

I think it was an interesting choice to mix real actors with CGI. Like it could have been a movie about animated Steve. It also explained why Jason is the way he is, but...the trailers don't lend anything to illuminate that question, he just has a weird/unusual outfit in the trailers.

Oh yeah, and the villagers, man. I barely understand why they look the way they look in regular Minecraft. Detailed villagers are...something...else...

I'm surprised they didn't try to hide any reference to Herobrine in the movie, but I suppose that'd be canonizing something that's not canon.

That creepypasta has been around since the alpha versions of Minecraft though.
