Quiznos was just toasted subs. A step above Subway, as the sandwiches actually go through a toaster instead of being tossed into a microwave mascarading as a convection oven. It was nothing truly special, but it was different from the other sub franchises. You can run across one every once in a while and it's like seeing a blue yeti in the wild.

Penn Station uses a similar device to toast their sandwiches.

Jimmy John's is my favorite too! All my friends shit talk it so much but like.. they deliver one sandwich and it's always consistent? How can that be bad?

I used to like Subway but then it was always my friend's pick during undergrad and now I can't even stand the smell. I probably haven't been to Subway in a decade now.

Went to Quiznos once.. the guy behind the counter said "I like your toes" and I've never been back
