My favorite thing about hitting Infinite it busting out the ol Agatha Deck and watching her occasionally wreck really good decks.

Just had a game where dude thought he had it won with a the ubiquitous turn 5 Wave. But I had the 3 extra energy from White Hot Room and Agatha played herself and Blue Marvel for the win. So beautiful.

People who snap turn 5 when you have a Daredevil in play are a special kind I tell you.

Like I see your move. If I can counter it, thanks for the extra cubes. If I can't, thanks for the easy escape.

Along a similar theme, if you have Daredevil in play, and you Snap after seeing my turn 5 play, that's a Super Boomer and you're a dipshit.
I may be a dipshit here then. I snapped even before I saw their play (although I didn't need Daredevil to tell me)

They played black panther into shuris lab on 4 and then going to Zola on 5. I play prof with priority into sinister London, knowing wherever his copy lands fucks their play. And then I would have aliothed on 6 in the playable lane to clean up any leftover mess.

This way was funnier this way since Zola just killed panther and couldn't make any copies

Well, finally slogged through to Infinite this morning

Was a heck of a match too

First three turns, I dont even have a card I can play yet, and then they Green Goblin'd Bar Sinister, I was like okay, I gotta grind for this one.

I get Thing down on 4, they Magick.

On 5, they Doc Ock Mojo, and because they have priority, it fills my lane and Prof locks it down for me. So now its a battle for middle.

Drop Abomination and and Storm on Limbo on turn 6 to end the game. See Hobgoblin and frantically trying to do the math in my head as he flies over.

We both were tricksey little buggers.

I'm gonna be sad if they nerf him into the ground.

I can understand a little power drop, but it's a cool mechanic. Very satisfying to pull off, but people get real butthurt when they get got.
I mean, devs obviously have more data than I do, so maybe they find he's actually not that powerful.

And actually, I haven't really noticed reddit bitching about him, and they will bitch about literally everything.

So who knows....

at my level I've only seen him a handful of times. you guys probably see way more decks with like "specific finishes" than I do, so I wonder if they balance alioth based on the needs of the upper tiers, or if they're seeing issues across the player base

hey, who do you guys think is the most versatile card in the game?

not just one you always run counter play like Armor or Prof X

but cards that genuinely slot well into the most amount of decks?

I think Nebula is slightly more versatile than Sunspot. Less reliant on your later round plays to generate power on her.

I feel like those are counter play cards though and I get that they can slot into almost any thing.

but I mean specifically cards that have multiple uses. Mystique for cerebro, mr negative, zoo, whole bunches of decks.
Ahh ok maybe I misunderstood.
