And here are the roles:

Village team:
3x Random Strong Villager
7x Random Regular Villager

Caveat: There will be NO MORE than one person who has a "speak with the dead" role. There will also be no more than one person with a "lock players up at night" role. There may be none of either, but there won't be multiple.

Wolf team:
4x Random Wolf

The random werewolf can be any of the numbered wolves (except regular werewolf) listed in the dictionary. The Sorcerer, Werewolf, and Werewolf Fan will not be in the game.

Solo team:
1x Random Killer

Solo team:
1x Random Non-Violent

Cupid and the Instigator will not BOTH be in the game.

Rules:
Nights will be 12 hours and days will be 24 hours. The end of the next period will be clearly posted.

You may edit your posts for clarity. If you edit out an action (like shooting someone) and you get caught I'm killing you.

Votes will be conducted via poll. The poll will close exactly at the deadline. You have unlimited changes until that point. If this sucks we'll go back, even if it's mid-game (not mid-day).

There will be a minimum number of votes required to lynch. Usually this number will be around the number of villagers / 2 - 1. In the event of a tie, nobody is lynched. In the event that the minimum number of votes is not reached, nobody is lynched.

Skips require a skip vote from every player. They'll be posted in the forum as usual. Once you vote to skip, you cannot unskip.

Night events will go in the following priority order regardless of when the PMs are sent to me:

Wolf Nightmare activates
Wolf Shaman/Confusion activates
Medium/Ritualist revive spell
Wolves break out of warden prison
Wolf seer check
Blind Wolf check
Illusionist disguise
Beast Trap ensnares an evil
Flagger redirect
Doctor protect
Bodyguard protect
Witch protect
Tough Guy protect
Violinist check
Detective check
Aura Seer check
Voodoo wolf / Librarian mute
Marksman shot
Witch kill (if not killed by marksman, otherwise potion unused)
Jailer/Warden kill (if not killed by marksman/witch)
Red Lady visit
Revived players return from the dead (cannot be targeted by wolves/solo in same night)
Solo killer attack
Wolf berserk mode activates
Wolves kill
Spirit Seer/Sheriff check
Cupid selection

In the event that two of the same role perform the exact same action, they will both be credited.

Please do not talk about the game outside of the designated threads. This is honor system. When you die, you will gain access to a special forum that is already set up. The ritualist will have access to this forum at night. If you are revived by the ritualist, you will lose access. Please use this forum for all discussion by dead players about the game. Alive players can talk during the main thread during the day.

It is possible, if very unlikely, for the game to end in a tie if every single player is killed. The game also ends in a tie if there are no deaths for three straight days and nights.

Winning Conditions:

Village: Kill all wolves and the solo killer.

Wolves: Kill the solo killer. Once the wolves make up half the total players, the wolves win, regardless of the roles remaining.

Solo Killer: Kill all other players.

Solo Non-Violent: Satisfy your winning condition. Your winning condition trumps any other that may occur at the same time. (For example, if you lynch the fool and it creates a situation where there are 3 wolves left and 3 villagers, the Fool wins only).

For wolves, it is likely that they are frequently "engaged in private conversation" during the day.

For villagers, it is likely that more powerful town roles will be "engaged in private conversation" during the nights.

I strongly recommend that ALL players uncheck this box in their privacy settings:

PLEASE READ: It has come to my attention that players are gaining intelligence on each other through unintended means. Namely, by looking at player profiles and looking at what activity they are engaged in.

For wolves, it is likely that they are frequently "engaged in private conversation" during the day.

For villagers, it is likely that more powerful town roles will be "engaged in private conversation" during the nights.

I strongly recommend that ALL players uncheck this box in their privacy settings:

it might be, but it's not a great game mechanic as staff can see through invisibility.

I did a read last night that came back blue - which all that means is I don't know who the Witch is so a pretty useless night for me.

For the rest of y'all.
Acting in self preservation needs to stop as this is how the town implodes.

We're in good shape as we deal with 3-4 wolves.

I'm voting Dean unless something better comes along.
 
I'm still questioning Dean's actions at the end of the day yesterday to switch when he did. I know it didn't result in anything changing, but just pretty crazy to switch off a lynch at the end of the day like that.

I *might* have a way to work around this. I’m gonna experiment around with my account and probably some unlucky person I volunteer so I don’t have to keep jumping between the test account and my own.

It would essentially be me creating a separate user group for all Wolf players, removing that group’s ability to access the member list, setting that as their secondary user group, but also forcing a different set of permissions instead of allowing the defaults to be inherited. All wolf players *should* be covered by that, even staff members, based on what I’m thinking of doing. It *should* work similarly to how I have the dead forums set up.

I was actually talking about Dean himself. He was on Raine, who has 7 votes, and then changed to me (who had 0 votes) with very little time left. It could have resulted in someone switching and causing a tie or no lynch because of it being below the threshold.

You guys want to know why I wasn't believing Dean yesterday, now that I've been cleared? (doing this because now that I'm clear the wolves will likely target me again to reduce the "known" pool)

I mean it's entirely possible that he truly is what he says he is and we have two of the same thing...but it means we have two of the same thing.

One of the wolves is a nightmare wolf. I got put to sleep last night. But they never came to tuck me in... for good. :paranoid

The two people I felt I  should protect based on role claims are still mega fuckin sus to me. Something just seems off.

Alu is being a bit more playful in his posts than I'm used to seeing out of him. Usually IMO he's a lot more reserved and analytical when he's a wolf and a little looser when he's a townie. Like he has less to lose almost?

Then watching the way all the votes were going at the end of the day, it legit seemed to me like he was trying to help.

So here are my thoughts...

I've missed both my protections. But I'm going to keep trying.

The village I can be sure of is Me, Vash and Alu. I predict Tommy is actually the Preacher, but I am not 100% sold on that. My assumptions are he is village. I am also assuming Raposuh is a wolf for now.

The wolf team, as I see it is either: Dean, Benzine and Jawneh OR they've done a hell of a job lying and hiding it and it's TD, Local and Kelly.

Additionally, Raposuh could have been Village and Jawneh/Dean/Benzine is a wolf too.

I know TD is going hard at Dean and was at Benzine too, but it could be a sacrificial lamb situation (only feasible if Raposuh is a villager).

As of now, if you set your account settings to not share your online status, it *shouldn’t* share anything. I’ll need a few people to enable this setting, and a mod to verify that it works. This isn’t the solution I quoted above, but a much quicker fix in the meantime if it works.

The issue I face right now is I don't know who to fully trust outside Vash and Alu.

That said, you did clear Vash yesterday. But so did two other people. You (TD) were very cryptic about him AND a wolf would still know who is cleared, so you could be feigning helpfulness. Something I don't put past you.

I dunno, something about you being a wolf is just... gnawing at me.
