@Kat and @Ben are West coast IIRC, and it's still afternoon there. May see more activity from them later.

@Tubby23 you've been quiet. @VashTheStampede was quiet until he got called out and then went back to being quiet.

Not saying being quiet is always suspicious, but without any valid reason, and with it being the weekend, just wondering. You guys busy with Christmas stuff?
For me more a case of got home from a Christmas function at 2am last night and slept until 10am, walked the dog while reading the thread and now more focused.
I will spend this afternoon (currently 11.20am) out in the back garden as it is a glorious day and I want to tend to my vegie patch but will check every 15-30 mins

What are you growing?

Edit: sorry that wasn't meant to be accusatory lol I was just curious/nosy

play Lost Kingdoms so you can tell me how it is
The plan was to bring my Wii back to Saudi but my parents didn't bring my cords/controllers down when I met them, so it'll be a year or so probably before I get back to you on this one but I'll try to remember

you think Jawneh would immediately target a wolf teammate to throw off suspicion on day one?
It would be way more suspicious if he didn't.
I'm willing to move back to no vote but we really need to figure out a lynch candidate.

FR is definitely good, even if he's saying his role isn't strong
Tommy is claiming the same
Benzine is claiming the same

We've got a lot of "I'm a weak townie, don't waste your time on me" claims, which don't help
Why do I doubt all of these claims and the person posting them? I wonder how far off I am.

So I currently have:
- tomatoes
- rhubarb
- beetroot
- strawberries
- raspberries
- sylvanberries

Today I will plant more tomatoes and I need to transplant the rhubarb as it's gotten too big

That sounds cool, a lot of fruit. It's mostly vegetable gardens here where I live (Ohio).

We had a small garden of tomatoes and cucumbers. If we move (which is the plan once the economy stabilizes and rates come back down), we want to have a larger garden.

Yeah it's coming into summer so better for mostly fruit crops

So Jon.

Humour me.

Did you do anything last night?
I actually played on my PS5. Had Star Trek: Resurgence from Gamefly. Finished it up. Fun little game cuz I'm a Trekkie, but the controls left a LOT to be desired. Especially the Phaser play. Normally I'm accurate in those kinds of games, but that left a lot to be desired.

So I went back to Hitman after and sniped the fuck out of all my targets to feel better. :link

I'm inclined to believe Tommy's claim. A false Cupid claim is pretty risky. It'd be easier to claim farmer or a silly role that can't do much, or just deny having an evil role without any further info.

I think I also believe Dean. He could be a wolf and know FR's aura, of course, but there's not much motivation to defend FR in that case. There's especially no motivation to prevent a killing role from wasting an attack. They could be coupled, but I think Dean would be subtler about it if either of them were a wolf, so that'd still make them both townies.

I feel like the wolves are laying low this game.

You want humour, I got your humour:

A frog enters a bank and approaches the teller, he sees from the nameplate at her desk her name is Patricia Whack.

He says "Hello Patricia, my name is Kermit Jagger my father is Mick Jagger and I know the bank manager. I'd like to get a $30K loan to go on holiday"

Patricia responds "$30K is a large loan for a holiday, you'll need to provide collateral for the loan"

Kermit responds "I thought you'd say that and so I brought this" he produces a tiny porcelain elephant, one inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.

Patricia looks at the elephant with scepticism and says "I will need to talk to the manager to get approval".

Walking into the manager's office, elephant in hand Patricia says to the manager "Sir, there is a frog out there that claims to know you, he says his Dad is Mick Jagger and he wants a $30K loan with this as the collateral" she brandishes the elephant towards him "I mean what in the world is this??"

The manager looks up and looks at the elephant before turning to Patricia and saying
"It's a knick-knack, Patty Whack
Give the frog a loan
His old man is a rolling stone"

That one is a classic Norm MacDonald joke I love telling since I'm a banker.

I'm not getting strong evil vibes from anybody, unfortunately.

Kelly and Benzine are a lot less "lead the town" than they were last game, but they also were targeted because of it last time, so I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to do the same thing this game.

Kut claimed I was trying to out killing roles even though I did no such thing. But we know he struggles with reading.

Jumpman didn't really answer my question, which is the same way he acted while evil, but I don't think I've played a game with him where he wasn't evil, so he could be like that normally.

Ben started out acting like he was too inexperienced compared to us to really participate so he was going to lay low, then he got a bit defensive when I called him out for it. But I've never played with him so idk what's normal for him

IDK man, nobody will really say anything, so it's hard to tell.

So you don't want to start randomly sniping people from an overpass in this game then
No.

Besides, I'd be far more selective than that.

My step-son's dad was arrested for throwing rocks at random cars on the freeway. And I'm not a fucking moron like he is. :link

There feels like a lot of lying low, but that really could be the time of year/Saturday. The people who are starkly against Day 1 Lynching are jumping out to me as people to watch but not necessarily sus yet - it's no secret I've long been an advocate and it tells so much, even if we miss.

Fwiw my top four (in no order) are FR, Dean, Benzine, and Jawneh.

I haven't played more than half a dozen games ever, but generally in these games the attitude I like to take is to obscure my role as long as I can until necessary to confirm something important or to try and save myself. In I think my first game I got bodyguard and I used my first protection successfully the first night so I already got the value out of the role so I was okay just saying blankly I protected someone specific.

But otherwise as long as I'm a regular townie or a role that can still accomplish something, I'm going to claim I'm a regular townie.

Dean being so pro-FR is either great news or bad news but I like you find it somewhat sus

I can't help but think of the game two games ago when I was "Spirit Seer" and was calling wolves blue.

It's a good strategy if it works. The only thing that nags me is he subtletly hinted it at first and then got all aggressive when kut implied he'd kill FR.
