I mean "affordable" is subjective. I have the 2 games out at a time and it's $27 per month. It's allowed me to play a ton more games and I don't drop $70 on one unless I know I'll replay it. So it's worth the price for me.

Not saying being quiet is always suspicious, but without any valid reason, and with it being the weekend, just wondering. You guys busy with Christmas stuff?

As Tommy said, I'm in upstate NY so I'm EST. But it's my weekend with my oldest son, so I knew I wouldn't be wanting to live on my phone/PC trying to decipher nerd speak when I could be playing Minecraft with him or something. Once all 3 of the kids are down, the lady gets my time until she decides it's time to sleep. It'll be similar tomorrow, I'll probably read up in the morning, then catch up on the start of day 2 by late evening. Maybe a little earlier, since I'll be driving my son back to Massachusetts between around 5-8pm and the other two may already be down before I get back .

Ben started out acting like he was too inexperienced compared to us to really participate so he was going to lay low, then he got a bit defensive when I called him out for it. But I've never played with him so idk what's normal for him

Not exactly. I stated I'm out of the loop on the past bunch of games so I have no context for the "X and Y aligned in a past game and Z is a cocksucker" type of reasoning. I wasn't trying to claim I don't know anything about Wolf in general, and most of Zell's roles are the same as the last one I was in.

And any defensiveness is from not being down with peer pressure trying to lynch someone no matter what. It's just not my style to condemn someone without due process. Yes I understand that it's "giving the wolves a free kill", but I'd rather do that than myself lynch someone innocent, who could have an important role for the village. The odds just don't feel in our favor, without at least one night for people to gather information.

If anything, this is the one thing I've seen that actually feels suspicious. Tommy did the same thing to start with then seemed to think better of it. The previous games I played I felt like I had to throw my role out there very quickly because I'd got actual information night 1 as the Bell Ringer, or because I was a useless potato-growing Farmer and thought the best move was to offer myself up as a Flagger-switch so I'd die instead of another useful role.

I don't really see a reason to offer up more than subtle hints to roles at this point. Those who can check people out tonight are going to do it, and tomorrow we'll see who presents the more believable arguments and where stories conflict.

I've not been nearly as paying attention here as i would have. This weekend is taking a lot out of me and it's only half over. I did not get any strong feelings one wany or another, so my vote is on only very basic and preliminary vibes, but I still think it's important to have a vote. I will not be on before phase end and I will probably not be on until mid-afternoon at best with everything going on tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back to higher concentration when day 2 kicks off tomorrow night.

Doesn't have to be. Maybe you've all been playing fast and loose in recent games, compulsively killing someone just to sate the Blood God, but I'd like to think we can foster a more civilized mindset. It's also likely because my actual job is in risk analytics & strategy, and I just don't subscribe to big gambles on little data.

And they will come to light, as people start cross-checking each other and someone's happened to cross-check them. That's when the actual big-game plays are made and people really start trying to build alliances or put their own spin on things.

But if we accidentally string up one of our own detection roles we only make it harder for ourselves to continue to receive more information. It just seems wholly counter-intuitive to offer up what your role is and paint a target on your back unless you're certain there's someone on your side who can protect you from death.

But everyone has their own play-styles. That's just my reasoning for ignoring even nebulous prompting for role information at this point.

Just spent the last two hours trying to beat the Prison on Dying Light. I have no guns or arrows, and I keep getting crushed by demolishers. Now I'm exhausted because it's nearly 3 am.

I was hoping we would see a lynch, but with 6 hours left, I don't know. I don't want to vote Kat because she always dies early. I was more suspicious of Tommy, but I'm thinking Jawneh is our only chance at a lynch.

I was going to try to reread posts but I'm so tired I know I'll never make it.

EDIT: I voted for Jawneh. I don't feel good about it. I probably should've just voted for Kat or no one.
