I think Cole may be one of the Random Killer roles. None of then can be killed by the wolves at night. He's playing as if he's the Fool so we don't lynch him and just don't bother wasting one of our kill abilities on him.

I’m not the gunner, but I do agree we need the gunner to act. The fool isn’t exactly a threat if we just never lynch them, but having his roll confirmed in a non-lynching kill frees us up from that fear of lynching others.

So let's say hypothetically that statement is accurate and not just someone exercising knowledge of the roles.

Even if Cole simply comes back as unknown, it is still mathematically much more likely that he is in the village rather than being solo.

Consider this option:
a) Cole is not a wolf
b) Cole stated someone targeted him last night
c) Cole is prime night 0 target potential
d) The wolf seer could easily check Cole, and Cole would be notified
e) Cole tosses out a possibility of who would do that night 0
f) The wolves could have studied the roles carefully to make it seem like when called into question, they're an aura seer
g) The wolves would know Cole's exact role so they could easily pull off said lie

Weird. Why doesn’t that happen with the other deer/detective roles? I don’t recall anyone commenting that they knew I looked at them last game. @Zell 17 - clarification needed

Yeah there was never anyone that made comment to confirm your role based off you using it on them during the last game. Which I'm sure would have been something that was mentioned given the way the game played.

Since Cole is not a wolf, I'm less concerned about what other role he may have. The only solo killer I'm worried about is the Arsonist, but the Arsonist would be much better off staying invisible. Trying to convince everyone that you have information you learned in the night phase is not being invisible. He could still be the Fool or another solo killer, but I'm less worried about those roles. I feel like he picked canadaguy for a reason.

I think two of our wolves are canadaguy and shortkut. kut wants Cole dead something fierce despite Tommy sacrificing himself to prove that Cole isn't a wolf. I don't know why the two voted TD together, though.
