You hit 6 when I voted for you, yeah. Vash and Cole then removed their votes in fairly short order, followed by Cole's big post.

Something along the lines of: Cole -> kut (removed quickly) -> FR (why I voted for him) -> ??? -> Holly (wolf)

Wolves made a lot of mistakes this game but hindsight is 20/20. My Avenger was on Cole most of the game because I figured he'd be protected somehow. It changed a few times but was mostly on him.

I considered claiming killing me would guarantee a villager died but thought that would put more of a target on me since the statement doesn't explicitly imply I'm a townie.

I need to get better at lying for this game.

TD kept asking things that really felt like trying to get me to confirm my role, and that just felt like some info the wolves would be interested in.

I did check TD that night and found all was good.


The sequence of events of me checking Cole, him saying he would 100% vote for a wolf day 1 and then voting for me really made things interesting though. Like if he throws that random vote to anyone else (except shortkut who did the exact same thing as me) who knows how that chaos plays out.

that's what made it so fun. I voted for you on this super vague suspicion, then it snowballed into perfection.

Had he not said he had 100% knowledge of a wolf, I would have played it differently. I picked up on your subtle clues right away and decided to be vocal about it to allow you to remain quiet

I've posted a smattering of my thoughts on this game in the discussion thread, but I'll center them here.

During day 1, I thought the town was about even with the evils. There was no information forthcoming, and a lynch was unlikely. Cole shooting the fool, and specifically the Fool, made this game much easier for the town. If he nicks a random wolf instead I think the odds tilt towards the town but it's maybe 60-40.

The reason killing the fool is so valuable is because of what happened at the end. During day 2 you had 8 villagers and 5 bads. The 7 villagers all had decent claims, 4 of the 5 bads did not. So the game was over, just use each day and vote out a bad. But if the Fool wasn't shot day 1, and the village narrows down the bads to 5 people, the game is far from over. Because the only tool left in the toolbox is voting, you have four people you need to vote and one of them really wants to be voted.

Even with that, the evils had chances. If they berserk on Cole and get the Jailer, it's 7 v 5 the next day with no bullets left. If the SK kills anyone or even if they hit the TG, the game is over because the village ends up in a 4 v 3 v 1 that's unwinnable or a 4 v 4 that's lost by rule.

So the game was over after Night 2, but was definitely hanging in the balance on Day 1 and Night 2. I know there have been some calls to tweak it. I'm going to put out a lineup that isn't necessarily HARDER for the village, but is certainly more confusing. My reasons are:

• I think this game in particular was closer than people think.
• Both games have had the solo killer make no kills, which is an anomaly.
• Both games have made the fool a non-entity during the first day, which is an anomaly.

So this game will still be balanced and is still a line-up I've seen played a lot. If this one is also a walkover I'll re-evaluate.

Okay cool. Just wanted to double check on that, because THAT could have blown up in Vash's face otherwise (until I came back).

I also think Benzine bringing me back was an MVP move. I was the only person who was truly able to confirm vash and benzine, and I added to the townie numbers. It would have looked far different if he listened to Cole and waited to bring him back when Cole died.

Presuming all of Night 0 is pre-loaded and doesn't happen as it comes in, it looks like you did change to Cole right after y'all found out about Alu.

So Aura Seer #1 and Gunner dead Night 0 in that scenario.

I have an idea to add to the hall of fame: for each game, besides just listing who played and who won, you could include the breakdown of the night actions and day actions, along with a brief little commentary about how the game went and notable things that happened.
