There's no Fool so it's less risky than other Zell games, the game won't instantly end with a mislynch. We are basically at an Abstain right now.

That said - the only people I have reads on right now are townie reads and I don't feel confident about wolf reads (yet).
The random non-violent role is confirmed to be the one where a lynch can't end the game. So while it's always risky with very little information, it's not the case where we won't have more game tomorrow if we get it wrong.

So here's something I'm thinking. If Ants is Red Lady, and as far as I'm able to discern, the only clear role that's been established, does that not make ants a huge target to be killed?

If he has townie trust, kill him, so we don't know who to trust.

In other words, where is the benefit in coming forward with info at this stage. Especially when the only info was that Holly isn't evil.

Ok let's keep up the game theory

How do we feel about not lynching anyone day 1?

I'm typically against it because I think the town needs to be aggressive but I'd like to at least have a conversation
night 0, a game with a potential for multiple seers, and lots of townies with a good role, arbitrary voting day 1 is still a foolish thing to do, and I will forever die on that hill.

this version of wolf is a game of information, not a game of reads. there's a reasonable chance we know who a bad guy is tomorrow, and even if we don't, we'll be able to narrow down who is who.

a seer should out themselves and start feeding intel.

and honestly, spare me the "he's asking people to out themselves again!"

there are multiple protectors, there are multiple killers, and at MINIMUM one seer. the more information we get early, the better. the very first game of Zells, the town decimated because I immediately started a cascade of role claims

this is another thing.

the more people that role claim, the more people the wolves have to choose from.

in fact. ill even start.

here's an actual depiction of me.

How was Holly confirmed not evil? He visited Jawneh.

Also Red Lady isn't much of a target compared to others. The priority would be to protect the Medium at this point, since the easiest/most useful way the red lady information is shared would be through death and the medium.

There is no random non-violent role. There's Cupid in place of that as the non-violent role.

Ok @Tommy Boy so initial thoughts:

  • Alu: still not a player I can get a great read on but so far hasn't said anything that raises my suspicion level. 2/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Ants: has posted more today in 1 day phase than the entirety of the Vash game, either coincidental or a wolf trying to create a lot ofnoise and reading for everyone else. Play is consistent with other games however so I am tempering jumping the gun and giving a 4/10 on the Tubby radar.
  • Ben: threw one playful accusation at Vash. 2/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Benzine: I have already commented on the increased posting but ignoring that fact first thing he said in the thread was that Tubby mentioned something about the number 4. Now looking back it was actually LH who mentioned number 4 and went as far as saying they are a wolf. I don't know about you guys but if someone says I am a wolf I probably remember who that is.... unless of course I am a wolf shifting blame with a fellow wolf. 8/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Christina: first time playing together from memory so I have no read. Contributed drawings and taking notes physically so happy to let her have some fun. 3/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Cole: good player, I've stopped trying to read him too hard. 1/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Holly: 3 posts, 2x GIFs and 1x Pizza advertisement. 5/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Jawneh: definitely meant something with the capitalising of the C and G and then drawing our attention to it. Isit a reference to a player like Christina Good, Cole Good etc or is it a reference to a role like Cupid Good. 2/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Local Hero: for the reason given for Benzine I am suspicious of LH. 7/10 on the Tubby radar
  • shortkut: need to re-read his posts more deeply. Score withheld
  • Smacktard: posts were a bit odd then said they'd been playing a game and semi distracted which seemed convenient and logged off for the night. Was also LH who said oh Kelly is asleep.... 6/10 on the Tubby radar
  • TD: playing as per usual, nothing stands out yet.I always have a base level of suspicion about TD because he is vocal but he knows it is all love. 4/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Tommy Boy: seemingly the most focused on a kill tonight, also Benzine twice accused him of being a wolf. Either part of a coverup or innocent bystander. 5/10 on the Tubby radar
  • Tubby23: keep him alive if you want meaningful info
  • Vash: second most vocal participant and had the same off feeling about Kelly as I did but we disagree on Benzine. 4/10 on the Tubby radar

I vote for Benzine.

I pro-“blood for the blood god” but in previous games I’ve been content not killing day one. I feel we can gain more information from a death than from abstention

I said he's asleep because I know he's 9 hours ahead of me and goes to bed around 10pm cause he's a grampa.

I'm not forcing anyone to read it. Much like the OJ post last game as much as I'd like to win and play well I also just want to contribute to a fun time for my friends.
(That’s what I said in mafia when you posted your first essay… it’s referred to as a callback)

Tubby posts.
shortkut votes him seemingly as a joke.
Benzine hops on the bandwagon.

See this is what happens when you post.
I don't see any red flags in his logic unlike VTS Mafia.

I'll take a turn at phrasing my action too please - I voted for someone who voted for me who used a reason that is blatantly incorrect, and doesn't make sense/understand what he's saying.

These two jump out at me though. I was already curious of Local but I seemingly was not the only one.

I think tubby or someone told us that 4 is also the number of some sort of evil beast. I wasn’t happy to be 4!

I am a good fella and will see you all later.

Go to this message. I am replying to Local. Clearly I know that Local says it. I am referring to a previous game with this message.

You try and twist this, hoping for the bandwagon votes for people not going back to check. Naughty boy.

To say the same thing in different words, the more townies that day what their role was and what they learned, the better?

Townie protectors have targets to protect and wolves have more to choose who to kill
with no role claiming, everyone's on equal footing. the wolves effectively have to pick at random, or target the same 3 or 4 so called "good players".

if people role claim though, then they have to prioritize targets. even false role claim, just to make their choices harder. and give the protectors options.

we can't win this version without knowing who the allys are.
I didn't see you at the convention...
I'm ugly, I stay to the shadows.

So here's something I'm thinking. If Ants is Red Lady, and as far as I'm able to discern, the only clear role that's been established, does that not make ants a huge target to be killed?

As long as I keep fucking people they can’t attack me directly. I can only die like the dude in bed with OJ’s wife.

It so happens I was unexpectedly given the day off because my work truck was having trouble :chuckle

I actually kind of agree with toning down the shitposting though, because a major factor of why I was so inactive in Vash’s game is because the amount of posts and reading in this game has become just too much to squeeze into my daily routine lately, and I imagine it’s the same for others.

So I’ll try to stick to more serious posts now.
