I mean, yeah? It takes guts, even if not fully intentionally, to do what you did during the Arsonist game. Because of canadaguy's Detective results, I couldn't discount that you were the Illusionist. Nor that shortkut was... nor obviously TD...

But for you, at least, going back to Kelly's posts after his death made it pretty clear what had happened. Though, of course, too late for the Spell by then.

I was initially going to put up a fight but then when I became convinced shortkut was the Avenger, I realized there was no way I was going to win.

I wasn't going to kill on that first stalemate day either, I just wanted it to be over.

Why would a stalemate without the wolves be any different than one with the wolves? Also there would be no reason at all to trust you to follow through with what you said. I felt like you were a brick wall at the moment and it was incredibly frustrating to just keep extending the game for no reason.

I didn’t trust you guys not to get an advantage and win so I had to ensure you couldn’t so a stalemate could be reached. If it got down to TD, myself, and two townies, I could have abstained so it would be just me and TD

The only way we could have gotten an advantage is someone who wasn't us gave it to us.

Even if we killed Vash that night, it would have been 2 wolves, 2 townies, and 1 RK. 1 Townie had the defense on himself and would have killed us without us killing him, the other had he avenge set on us during the night.

Even if we also got Dean to say his defense was down and took him out the next night, it would have been 2-1-1 with your target still on us.

Not gonna lie, I thought about snapping my fingers at the end of the first stalemate and letting 2 people die just to speed up the process, but not sure how those 2 would've felt so I took the safe way out and tagged everyone but shortkut and benzine to play it safe.

Look at shortkut and I with our contingency plans.

It also wasn't really negotiating from kut. It was desperately trying to convince you he wouldn't backstab you if you gave the town an easy way to victory and you saying you didn't have another option.

Oh don't worry. At one point the thought crossed my mind that you were actually a wolf faking dead thread posts and you knew who I was so you were trying to get my attention and point me to the real Ritualist so you could keep doing it.

I mean I did sort of set out a scenario wherein Benzine could've been the Ritualist, so the wolves could maybe kill him and leave the known townies alone. So I understand.

It's gone from "Oh man these 2 or 3 players need to be taken out immediately" to being able to showcase that a ton of people here have talent here. The changes to the random numbers up front allowed us to see that happen a well.
