The roles are out. The role dictionary can be found here:


Rule Change: I will assume you skip when you send me night actions unless states otherwise. If you have no night action, I will assume you skip. I will assume wolves skip once they've performed actions and selected their kill. You can state otherwise to avoid skipping. Day skipping will still require a vote.

The random werewolf can be any of the numbered wolves listed in the dictionary EXCEPT normal werewolf.

Rules:
Nights will be 12 hours and days will be 24 hours. The end of the next period will be clearly posted.

You may edit your posts for clarity. If you edit out an action (like shooting someone) and you get caught I'm killing you.

You have unlimited vote changes. This includes voting nobody. The day expiration time of 9 pm will be strictly enforced. If your post / vote is at 9 pm or later, it will be discarded. People can have a flurry of late vote changes to lynch someone, but of course the consequences of doing that will be noticed by the village. Only your last vote will be counted. Votes must be in Bold to be counted. Please vote in the format I vote XXXX to make it easy for me.

There will be a minimum number of votes required to lynch. Usually this number will be around the number of villagers / 2. In the event of a tie, nobody is lynched. In the event that the minimum number of votes is not reached, nobody is lynched.

Night events will go in the following priority order regardless of when the PMs are sent to me:

Wolf Nightmare activates
Wolf Shaman/Confusion activates
Medium/Ritualist revive spell
Wolves break out of warden prison
Wolf seer check
Blind Wolf check
Illusionist disguise
Beast Trap ensnares an evil
Flagger redirect
Doctor protect
Bodyguard protect
Witch protect
Tough Guy protect
Violinist check
Detective check
Aura Seer check
Marksman shot
Witch kill (if not killed by marksman, otherwise potion unused)
Jailer/Warden kill (if not killed by marksman/witch)
Red Lady visit
Revived players return from the dead (cannot be targeted by wolves/solo in same night)
Solo killer kill
Wolf berserk mode activates
Wolves kill
Spirit Seer check
Cupid selection

In the event that two of the same role perform the exact same action, they will both be credited.

Please do not talk about the game outside of the designated threads. This is honor system. When you die, you will gain access to a special forum that is already set up. The ritualist will have access to this forum at night. If you are revived by the ritualist, you will lose access. Please use this forum for all discussion by dead players about the game. Alive players can talk during the main thread during the day.

It is possible, if very unlikely, for the game to end in a tie if every single player is killed. The game also ends in a tie if there are no deaths for three straight days and nights.

Winning Conditions:

Village: Kill all wolves and the Illusionist.

Wolves: Kill the Illusionist. Once the wolves make up half the total players and the instigator team is gone, the wolves win, regardless of the roles remaining.

Fool: Get lynched by the town during the day.

Illusionist: You are the last surviving player.

Day will begins at 9:00 PM ET unless all night actions are received / skipped.

The sinister pack of werewolves had grown bold and cunning. They had long harbored a bitter grudge against the town's sheriff, a fearless and relentless lawman named Sheriff Tubby, who had been their constant thorn. He had tirelessly pursued their kind for AT LEAST A DAY, unearthing their dark secrets and driving them into hiding. Now, with vengeance in their blood and an insatiable thirst for retribution, the cunning werewolves plotted to turn the tables. Under the cloak of night, they crept closer to town, their amber eyes gleaming with malevolence as they honed in on their unsuspecting target, determined to make the sheriff pay for his relentless pursuit of their kind.

The town awoke, and found another surprise. The marksman had made a silent kill.

Local Hero was shot and killed by the Marksman. Local Hero was the Illusionist.

There's one prominent individual who is giving me all kinds of feels - and I don't know if they're the good kind or the bad kind, but something is off in a way I just can't place right now and I don't like it.

Granted. But, like... I WAS GOING TO POST THIS?!

Preemptively: I would advise the town to not start a bandwagon just yet.

Why does the rank matter from a note taking perspective?
Sheriff
Aura: Good
Can watch a player at night. If the player watched is killed by the wolves/solo, the Sheriff will be given two possible suspects for the person responsible for that player's death. If the Sheriff watched a wolf kill, the Sheriff will be given info on the lowest ranking remaining wolf and another villager at random (who may be any role). A jailed wolf will not be selected. The player selected is made at night by PMing a name to watch.

3. Shaman Wolf
Aura: Evil
Can select a player to enchant for the night. That player will show as the wolf shaman to all seer roles. This ability has unlimited uses, but cannot be used if the shaman wolf is the only wolf alive. The player to shaman will be selected via PM.

4. Berserk Werewolf
Aura: Evil
Once per game, can activate berserk status. The ability must be activated during the day. The wolves' normal nightly kill will be guaranteed to die. Anyone attempting to protect that player is also guaranteed to die regardless of role or role attributes. The berserk can be activated anytime for the current or next night phase by sending a PM. The berserk ends immediately if the berserk werewolf is killed, including if killed by the solo player immediately prior to use.

Obviously no. Based on what Raine said yesterday I moved it to you last night so I could take a shot tonight, hoping you were the alpha. Takes 2 shots to knock that dude down so I was hoping to take care of half of it.

What happens if the Marksman attacks the Beast Hunter when the Beast Hunter has activated the trap on himself?

Purely hypothetically speaking.....
 
So here's the thing, then.

@Fool's Requiem was the Shaman.

The only two "outs" my post was going to give @Tubby23 were

1) @Local Hero was the Shaman, because he was imprisoned
2) @Fool's Requiem was the Shaman, because he was disguised and killed

BOTH OPTIONS ARE DONE.

There are two wolves left.

What did Fool say to convince you he was the Shaman Wolf? I thought maybe he was the Illusionist or the fool. I'm not hyper observant like you though.

So yours is on Dean currently, yes? Since I got another mark myself on someone, so just that we get all our eggs in order in different baskets.

Cannot be killed by the wolves at night. At night, can choose to disguise a player. Any disguised player will appear to be the Illusionist to all seers and will be reported as the Illusionist if they are killed. During the day, at any time, the Illusionist can decide to kill all disguised players. Aura: Unknown

Local was 100% The Illusionist.

So Jawneh did one of:

Killed the actual illusionist
Killed a wolf that was targeted by the illusionist
Killed the fool that was targeted by the illusionist

Definitely not a townie kill.
As far as I know, people only appear dead as illusionist if the illusionist themselves killed them not otherwise. Plus the illusionist is crossed out now in the first post.

Marksman dies if they try to shoot a townie.

If you really are the Marksman, please don't try to attack me. It won't end well for you.
