I wish I could be more worldly. All I know about New Zealand is that they have Hobbits and an affinity for sheep.

Sheep farming is not what we're really known for when people come to NZ. I also think I hear that stereotype never (excluding on GW), it might be outdated haha. We do make nice meat though. Dairy farming is what dominates our news in terms of farming.

Not just our meat, we're known for nice produce and what not as well. And all the LOTR stuff is still massive. I used to live right around the corner from Weta studios and would see tourists going there aaaaaaall the time.

We are also known for our excellent beer, and nature/hiking/camping/mountains - especially nature with basically NO dangerous creatures/insects/Australian shit.

Really it just sounds like we're most other places, but with LOTR.

Yeah I've seen a few local breweries here releasing New Zealand IPAs. I'm not sure the specifics of what makes that style, but the ones I've tried were good.
