Correct! I thought that one was going to be a little harder, but I guess it ended up on a ton of older systems. I played it on the Sega (Multi-Mega) CD.

I knew it as Road Avenger. Probably my first exposure to Toei Animation, too,

Dragon's Lair was alright, but yeah there probably aren't many. Hard to make an entire game out of quick-time events.

I heard Dragon's Lair is unfair because the time a command appears on screen is not necessarily when you should press it. It was meant as a quarter muncher, but the Sega CD game is genuinely well-respected.

I can see that 100% sucking in arcade. Road Avenger too, as that seemed to be arcade first in 1985.

I died so much playing on the Sega CD. If it'd cost money each death I'd have had to start a life of crime to fund it.

I DO NOT recommend playing the NES port of Dragon's Lair.

I do recommend Dragon's Lair 3D on the Gamecube. It has those tricks, but you can typically see them coming if you're paying attention and it controls well enough.

It's a pretty intense use of dithering, but I bet it looks fantastic on CRT screens. Man, I really need to order some UK adapters so I can play my Genesis+32X over here soon ;_;
