That's the set up, yeah. So since @Spectro guessed mine correctly it's their turn!Nailed it. How about to keep this game going, the person who guesses right has to post the next prompt?
Holy shit I think I watched people play this on YouTube randomly about 3 months ago.
Yup it's James Pond 2: Codename Robocod (best name ever)! I think it's from the outside of the castle, which acts as the stage select area. But I could be wrong! So, @Tommy Boy, your turn to post a new screenshot!Holy shit I think I watched people play this on YouTube randomly about 3 months ago.
James Pond (2?) in the Santa's Workshop level???
It from that era, but I played it on the Amiga CD32. I think it was released on other platforms too though. It looks like a Genesis game... Dynamite Headdy? Ristar?

Is this too hard?
I don't have a clue dude. All the games I could think of with blue-haired protagonists don't seem to fit this.Is this too hard?
I couldn't figure it out. Looks like a PS1 JRPG, but I can't place it.Is this too hard?
Getting warm hereI couldn't figure it out. Looks like a PS1 JRPG, but I can't place it.
I played the demo of this game over and over from a demo disc I got. When I finally got this game, I distinctly remember this part but not much anything else besides the trees and the mist.I ended up reverse searching it and I'd never have got it.
well my dude, you got it lolFirst thing that pops into my head is Legend of Legaia
I didn't recognize this at all and cheated to find out what it was, but I do love that eras aesthetics. Reminds me of the SCUMM engine.

I knew the publisher, so went through their catalogue and figured it out that way. Does that count? I've never played it. Is it any good?

Quest for Glory 1
Wtf? That's cool as shit for ANY era of game, especially older games. Sounds great, I'll have to check it out some day.The fact that you can carry your same hero and his stats and whatnot through multiple games was mindblowing to me.
Sure looks like one, don't it.It's definitely a 360/PS3 game.
this looks too Unreal Engine 3 to be a Half Life mod, IMO.Those robot models look like DOG from HL2. I thought it was Natural Selection 2 or something, but nah. Maybe a HL2 mod?
It's free on the Microsoft store and has been for years!Ok maybe harder than I thought. Rather infamous game but I suppose the fact that it's nearly impossible to acquire anymore makes it much harder.
Maybe digital media doesn’t believe in youOh. Well.
Maybe I don't believe in digital media!
I originally said "TOO easy" in the original post and changed it because i thought it was TOO big a hint.well, that made it easy.
It's Too Human.
And technically its still able to be purchased, just in the secondary market as a physical release. It's dirt cheap, too. Under 10 bucks complete according to Price Charting.
Right? Everyone's trying to pick the most obscure bullshit. At least that's how it feels because I'm a dummy.
