Everyone stop what you're doing! It's happening! GW's own Alu is having a baby!! Come and congratulate him here: Need some help identifying this picture.
We're so happy for you, Alu!echoing this statement a lot of AAA fames these days just don’t interest me anymore and I’ve kind of been drawn more to AA/ indie games recently like one of my favorite studios over recent years is devolver digital games. they just make fun games even if a lot of it is nonsense but they don’t miss in my opinionIt's not just you, you've basically encapsulated how I've felt about all of those releases. The last games that were released that truly caught my attention as something I wanted to check out was Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky. Neither are part of big franchises or sequels to other games, and it's rare for a game like that to catch my attention. Partly because I don't follow releases like I used to, but, also because nothing really stands out among the crowd to me.

I used to look up a lot of gaming news too, but I quit that a while back. I don't get hyped for games anymore. I remember the letdowns that were Metroid: Other M and Oblivion and Spore, and I think I stopped getting hype about games around that time. I didn't even know Skyrim came out until my friend showed it to me (I ended up loving it). Games come out and they'll either be good or not, and there's no point in me getting my hopes up for a game that ends up being shit. I also don't like spoiling myself -- I like to keep as much of the game fresh as possible.I had no idea about Clair Obscur until a week or two before it came out as I saw someone mention it and Oblivion coming out around the same time and now Im playing it and loving it

I also dont follow gaming news like I used to. I can remember before KOTOR came out and I was on ign and all the other sites every day looking for info, to now unless its a franchise it doesnt stick in my mind and even if it does catch my eye, I dont research anything about it.

Im sure I saw posts about it on reddit or what ever, but since it was a new IP it didnt stick in my mind. Hell, I dont think I knew of Avowed until not long before it came out and that is a bigger studio

I don't really see myself really looking much into other games coming out soon -- excluding maybe Okami 2 and Elder Scrolls VI.
TBF, the last time they tried to add something new [to Call of Duty] people complained.Honestly, I feel like a lot of AAA devs tend to take the lazy way out and just copy + paste a formula over and over hoping no one notices or cares enough. Just re-skin last year's bullshit and move on. Looking at you, Call of Doody.

Call of Duty added spaceship battles and people complained that it wasn't a WWII game.
My gaming hot take is that criticism of Call of Duty being lazy and cut-paste is often much lazier and cut-paste than the games themselves.
Some of the recent campaigns have been top-tier, and all of them have been at least good (except the most recent MW3, although that was obviously a DLC pack that was disfigured into a full price title). The multiplayer is definitely more similar year on year, but as Fool's says that it what consumers are clearly demanding. As much as I don't play multiplayer games as much these days I still think CoD is one of my favourite multiplayer titles.
or even something like assassins creed even if i don’t play those games they still are all the same. especially when they were coming out yearly. and these devs are more concerned with making money and putting in battle passes, and being a live service game than being a good game. now there are times where a major game will interest me even if it does have those things but that seems like a rarity nowHonestly, I feel like a lot of AAA devs tend to take the lazy way out and just copy + paste a formula over and over hoping no one notices or cares enough. I speculate it will not come out for PC until 2027.people are speculating that Rockstar delayed gta VI so that it could come out on pc at the same time as console

So you are telling me my Steamdeck ain't gonna cut it?And even when it does come out, no reasonable mid-tier computer is going to be able to run it. It's going to be the new Crysis.

Came across this post on Reddit, so take this with a grain of salt:

I enjoyed the new video, even though it didn't have game play footage, it has me more excited for next year's release.
That's a really interesting post. I'm not surprised by it though. I feel like RDR2 Online might be the better example. Although people play it, I don't think it would be considered a success at all. They probably want to make sure they don't repeat that situation either.Came across this post on Reddit, so take this with a grain of salt:

Not a surprise that GTA graphics are the same in cutscenes and in-game. But considering how good everything looks, it's still remarkable.According to multiple reports, trailer 2 has nearly a 50/50 balance between gameplay and cut scene footage in it... Apparently it was a conscious move to show that there are seamless transitions and minimal differences between what you see in-game and during the cut scenes.
